Community on the cord

Hey everyone, has there been any talk by chance of starting a Dis cord community for Dis Boards or DVC fan? I think it would be well received because it’s an awesome cross between standard message boards like this and Facebook! Could easily build out specific channels just like on here. I would love to discuss and explore this option with the powers that be.

Basically just really curious because I use it a lot in the web3/NFT/crypto space and for Amazon and it really give the new approach to chatting with and only school feel…thanks

It’s not a forum, it’s a social media platform. It would be fun to see dis boards start a “server”…it’s like the Facebook group or here essentially. Not sure how else to explain it other than having you check It out

All good, was just saying it would be awesome to see them on that platform. Especially with web3 moving in that direction. That’s all. Just really east to build out and set up just like the boards here. Just easier to navigate and a little more updated. To each their own, wasn’t trying to shill.

I don't get it either. If it's a message site like the Dis, then why would this site be needed? What are the benefits to the owners? To the users? You say "easier to navigate"... how? I mean most message boards are pretty easy.

Not really much to get I guess. It’s laid out nicely, has great ability to be expansive. You are right, it’s similar to here and why change. Forget I said anything, I’m not here to try to convince anyone, just was asking the question considering there is a FB community, here, DVC fan even has TikTok so …again, wasn’t intending to try to shill anything. I’m also a firm believer in don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. I’ll let it go

What you put in red was a response to one of your questions, mainly what are the benefits…I guess I could’ve “quoted” that part in your original message… And what is bolded was simply pointing out the fact that I’m not here to convince anyone, the original post was asking if there was any discussion about it and that it could be neat. I’m sorry you feel the way you do. Not sure how your negativity helps . I know nothing is stopping me from starting one, just came here for some conversation and started a thread to ask.
