Communication w/ Planner

My fiancé and I are currently 10 months out and were wondering how much communication we should expect having with our planner before the 6 month mark.

The only contact we've had so far is the introductory email and there hasn't been anything since. Is this normal or should we be worried or attempt more communication on our end?

Just a little unsure what we should expect in the first 6 months from getting our date. Thank you!!

That sounds about normal. Pricing can't be guaranteed until 6 months before your date, and each planner is assigned so many weddings, that they don't really start working on yours until you're within that time frame. Now is a good time to focus on all the things that YOU can control, like DIY projects, tuxes & bridesmaids' gowns, invitations, rings, etc.
