emmebear & Emme had originally planned to have High Tea at the Grand Floridian this afternoon, before heading home.
But Emme was tired and napping after her exciting morning of dining with the princesses.
So instead, emmebear headed to one of the F & W Fest booths for her lunch...

And so that is our last update from emmebear and her daughter, Emme. But lucky for us, they have two more short trips planned before the end of the year. After seeing that CS steak from Liberty Tree I would love if some CS menu pictures could be added to the scavenger list since it would appear some menus have been nicely updated!

Barb, thanks for sharing the photos from Linda67 and my Dismeet today! I was going to text the menu photo but you ended up doing the work for me! Lunch and time with Linda were awesome!

It was my honor and pleasure to do so!

Wow, Barb - I love this! I will be sure to print it out and take it with us. One thing Andrew and I have talked about is being able to try more QS and snacks. Having the DxDDP, there usually isn't much room for that! So this will be new for us. Do have a couple of ADRs booked but all but one are subject to change or cancellation.

I am hoping Andrew will take this has a throwdown challenge and have fun with it with me! One thing I can promise is as many food & wine items as we can possibly fit in!

Yes, they bring around Mickey waffles too.

Your wish is my command! I have a few updates to post now, but then I'm going to do some more "tweaking" of the scavenger hunt list. So if anyone else has anything in particular that they would like to see a pic of here, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Steak at Liberty Inn - that's so unexpected! According ot allears, it's a 6-ounce New York Strip Steak with red wine butter, roasted potatoes, and steamed broccoli. Pretty cool for CS!

Thanks barb for posting my pics! Although I felt like I was inundating you with them.

We are back safe & sound. Looking forward to putting emme to bed early & watching football tonight.

The 4 days passed too quickly...I can't wait to return next month.

Nikki said, "Epcot was terribly crowded Saturday night but counter service places had no lines!"

chocolateMinnie said, "Not the best use of QS credits but up at 4:30 a.m. thanks to jetlag and with MK open at 8:00, we changed our plans. The bakery offers a pastry and drink plus fruit for a QS breakfast. DH and DD had croissants with bananas while DS had cherry danish and I had cheese danish."

Friday night Linda attended the Halloween Party at the Disneyland park and had dinner on Main Street at...

Chef's Vegan Burger - House-Made Bean and Vegetable Patty, Tomato, Lettuce, Pickled Red Onions,
and Vegan Chipotle-Mayonnaise on a Multigrain Roll and served with Seasoned Fries



Linda said, "Yet again another wonderful Disneyland meal. The burger was really tasty and much nicer than the usual veggie burgers from the quick service locations. The fries were hot, crispy and really well seasoned - delicious!"



Linda added, "Oh and I had some amazing cinnamon spiced hot chocolate after my meal and watched the Halloween parade from the patio of the cafe. Such a great place to eat!"

Linda said, "I took part in the Halloween Tour of the parks and everyone was given a marshmallow treat which I couldn't have as they weren't vegetarian (gelatine) so I was given this beauty instead - a pretty good deal huh! It was a green apple, coated in caramel and white chocolate and as it contains one portion of fruit it has to be healthy right?"

On Saturday morning Linda was at the Disneyland park where she enjoyed breakfast, while overlooking the rivers of America, at the...

Linda said, "Mickey pancakes, which although very tasty are likely to give small children nightmares. Mickey - you look freaky!" ​

Disneyland's Fantasmic Dessert Package


Linda said, "After a wonderful lunch with the even more wonderful Brenda, I headed back to the hotel for a while before heading back into the park for the evening. I had booked the Fantasmic Dessert package in order to get a reserved seat and let me tell you it was money well spent."




"The view was perfect and I got to sit in comfort whilst the fabulous cast members served your choice of coffee, hot chocolate, tea, sodas etc. and brought you this yummy snack box."

"Yes - this was for one person!



There was cheese, crackers and grapes and a selection of sweet treats. The little dessert with the Mickey head was a delightful cheesecake...this was my fave. There was also a couple of chocolate truffles and a chocolate brownie- style treat that was a little too sweet and rich for me. The sugar cookie was full of raspberry jelly and was really good. There was also a little lemon tart and a coconut macaroon.
Phew! - I didn't eat it all, honest."

Challenge accepted! I am pretty sure we will be eating at several of those CS places and will be getting quite a few of the snacks!! I am hoping we get there when expected...we are East Coast and flying out of Newark...which is to be hit pretty hard by Sandy! Linda said, "This is basically a Starbucks location. It's themed in a very Disney way and the Starbucks touches are very subtle."

Seriously, though - I hope you're able to travel safely (and on time). Even though the storm should be gone by Wednesday, I wonder how bad the flooding and debris will be afterwards (plus, how do airlines deal with all the people whose flights are cancelled tomorrow and Tuesday?). This storm is so frustrating - I just hope the damage won't be that bad.

On a more cheerful note, that caramel apple is so cool! Mickey, on the other hand, needs to have some work done. And I'm definitely in the mood for some Starbucks now - too bad it'll be closed until Wednesday. Where will I get my caffeine fix until then?
