I however did not have the benefit of this fabulous web site, strangely enough I just decided to seek forums out to appease my ravenous appetite for constant disney stimulation, [the dvd isnt as powerful as it was in the beginning, I have just ordered 2005's and am waiting with baited breath

I'm addicted! But, if not for these boards, I never would have learned about DVC, so we certainly couldn't have purchased! I have been able to answer all of Dh's questions do to the great people on here- I wouldn't have put down my deposit Friday if it wasn't for them! We also are purchasing due to refinancing our home, so I understand that processand the waiting. We hope to close this week so I can pay the rest of my downpayment soon. I can't wait! Thank you all for welcoming me. I have gone to Disney several times as a kid then introduced DH to Disneyworld on our 10th anniversary. We took the kids for the first time the following year. I have been hooked ever since. I even took a job for a short time at our local Disney store- quit due to a psycho manager...but that is another story.

All of your suggestions on trying to convince the hubby cracked me up! I have used them all. Funny how little things like this can change a life. It does give me great joy reading about all of your experiences...and yes, I cried when I watched my first Disneyworld promotional video...the part at the end when the families talk about what Disney means to them. I have all of the DVC media/ forms sent by my guide, Robin Daniels. Just waiting for the day when hubby says ok- Thinking Wilderness Lodge as we stayed there and love it.
