I agree with you, I love the new do also!! Jas is working at a hair salon/store front desk/cashier!! She had her first shift last Thursday and so far so good

That sounds right up her alley... and the employee discount won't help, right? I mean, I'm not saying your girl spends too much time on her looks or anything but she IS beautiful and any girl that needs THREE BATHING SUITS for a 2 week trip probably does spend her fair share of time in the bathroom primping, I'd guess.

Oh, and while I have your attention, let's get one thing straight. Just because you cook it outside doesn't mean it's BBQ. You grilled hamburgers (and they look yummy... I want some!). BBQ involves rubs and sauces and, most importantly, slow cooking. Now, next time y'all try to get it right. I know, I know.. you can't help yerself. It's probably the term y'all were raised with. But having been raised in South Carolina where BBQ'ing is akin to an act of worship, I felt I just had to say something.

Yes, I agree the girls do favor each other a LOT! Wow!!!

you could never offend me....you are my sarcasm sparring partner Peg bought me a fridge magnet one year that says - sarcasm - just one of the services I offer It's sport for me - and it saddens me when people don't get my humour.....I find myself quite hilarious -- wait for it -- Peg will have a comment on that one

I am keeping my fingers crossed you can make it, it would be awful to be so close (in the grand scheme of things) and not get to meet. On the other hand you seem like an old friend that I have known forever

We are off to Peg's for brunch in an hour or so to celebrate Father's Day as Geodoc is working tomorrow. I think Peg and I may get together then to look over the Garden Grocer website and decide what food we will be ordering

Thanks Tiff We are getting super excited....I did catch Jasmine trying to watch an episode of Mayday the other day there.....I was not happy with her. Every little noise, movement,sway...you name it, she'll bring up an episode of Mayday on the aircraft....it's like self torture

So I had full intentions of getting up this morning and getting a whole bunch of work done.....it's two hours later and I'm still reading all my subscribed thread updates and still in my pj's It's been an insanely busy week so the thought of staying here with my computer is so tempting. I am currently typing with one finger because mini Montana just asked me to remove her bandaid from her knee and it was very traumatic for both of us We tried waving a magic wand to remove it but that didn't work and then she said "maybe we should say please" but it STILL didn't work so we had to resort to distraction (Site Life of Zach and Cody is on) and a warp speed pull

We had Snow White's kid party for her birthday on Friday night and she had such a great time. Of course that was after an afternoon spent outside at school dancing. She was twirling around and then twisted her ankle so we had drama as well as dancing. Doesn't she end up getting a sport wrap in flashy pink from Claire's from one of her friends as a gift? She's been milking it for all it's worth! The dance afternoon is an annual thing and Mini Montana has as much fun as anyone there. It was so hot but so many mom's brought freezies and popsicles they were definitely hydrated or at least sugar loaded
Mini Montana had her stay and play for Kindergarten on Friday morning. It is going to be a sad, sad day for her mommy in September
As Queen mentioned we had our Father's day celebration yesterday here. We had a brunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The four of us went to see our local baseball team win a game last night. It was a very exciting game.
This week is the last piano lesson(party really), and last soccer for Mini Montana and practices for Snow White. It's also last week of school (except that they have to go next Monday is their last day.) Mini Montana finished preschool this past week. I cried, her teacher was amazing, we'll miss her.
I'm still trying to put summer clothes away. I believe summer finally arrived this past week. I didn't have to wear my winter coat to soccer this week and was swarmed with mosquitos on Thursday

I put up the countdown calendar yesterday. Mini Montana helped me glue. They were very excited to mark a day off. They like to do it first thing in the morning. I need to update the packing lists, start buying some supplies, and work on that Garden Grocer order. I also want to print out the daily park index cards and review what we want to do each day. We'll have to pull names again for order of rides each day. We usually let one child (and Jasmine is included in this group) pick the first ride of the day and then we start our day in that area of the park and go from there. There may be some coaxing if we need to to make our plans work. We all write down our must do rides and then the "gravy" rides. Sometims we get everyting done, sometimes not. We are pretty "go with the flow" people but need an outline before we go so we don't waste time anywhere arguing about who gets to go where and when. I find our children do better if they know what to expect and there are less tears. There is also the threat of no pool time if there is unacceptable behaviour occuringIt doesn't always work but every little bit helps. I don't want our holiday ruined by whining and arguing and that's just Queen

Sounds like everything is falling into place! We too have had a busy week, and it seems to continue into next week as well. I love the warp speed pulls of bandaids too! lol They work great for DD!! It sure has seemed like summer here finally!! Sunblock out and almost used a tube so far...lol I think we went from winter right through to summer! I have a question for you guys...I haven't gone to WDW in the summer with a child, only with DH and me. So I was wondering how your kids take it? DD5 (will be turning 6 there) just gets kinda tired here from the heat. But I think she has a great tolerance to the heat/humidity. We have the misting fans, and I am pretty sure we are going to head back for a swim/rest in the afternoons. Is that what you do with your guys?? Do you have any other tips for us?? Plus the hat question...DD hates hats, at best she may wear a bucket hat for a bit, is that a huge issue that she wears one?? She never really wears one here at all. She prefers to have her hair done with bows etc....lol She does wear sunglasses though. Thanks so much!
