Hi everyone! It’s been a LONG time since I’ve been on the DISBOARD- so great seeing some old familiar names! Anyone know if @tiggerdad is still around?
We are currently on the way from Minnesota- planning to check in Friday and spend 10 beautiful days! Hoping to get our favorite spot in the 1400 loop- I know Friday arrival might make that tough. Hoping that loop is currently open!

This is our first trip during summer- we have always come in October before. But with kids growing up, having college and jobs- I feel blessed just being able to have a chance for all of us to still have this time together.

Let me know if there’s any special things I should know! Can’t wait to get there after 1702 miles of driving!

Welcome back! As of Saturday, when I left FW, 1400 was open, but there will be increased traffic through the loop due to pedestrian and golf cart traffic being rerouted through 1400 to get to the Meadow Recreation area. The normal golf cart path is closed as is the pedestrian bridge by 1500 loop.

Have a great stay and be sure to update the rest of us with pics of all things FW and the progress of the Meadow field construction and the monstrosity behind Pioneer Hall.

I might know where he is, though his mental status is, as always, in question.

Hey @tiggerdad ! I would have been happy to! We have some really bad wildfires the past few weeks but thankfully finally got rain right before we left so they are starting to get them under control. They were very close to Cotton.
We are currently broke down in Georgia- not sure yet what’s wrong but sure hope we can figure it out…

Keeping everything crossed we’re fixed! Joe tightened up bolts on the fuel filter- he thinks they came loose after he changed everything at home. Also have another new fuel filter in here in case we need it. On the road again and running perfect so far for about 30 miles.

We have arrived! Happily settled into the 1400 loop, and currently picking up one of our kiddos at the airport! Then heading to Hoop tonight !
My Lord it’s hot in this state! At home it’s only 60 degrees-sounds pretty good right now!
