I did stayed at that hotel! During Hurricane Charlie in 2004, because of the possibility that the apartment I was living at that time, would be damaged by the Hurricane. I did not have any breakfast, since the hotel was without electricity the night of Charlie hitting Orlando. The Hotel itself is good. Has Microwave oven and small fridge. I believe they offer free continental breakfast, but as I stated, because of the Hurricane problem, there was not breakfast that day.

Hi and WELCOME TO THE DIS!!! I've never stayed here. I was unable to find too much info on the DIS regarding this property. Here is what I could find:

Whoever was, that gave a bad impression of the hotel, I think it got it wrong! I was satisfied with the hotel. Perhaps it was during an emergency time, but I did not found any problem with the hotel. While is true that there is not much on Turkey Lake Road. I will suggest that you rent a car. Tough there is public transportation from LYNX, but they shut early and does not run on Sundays and some Holidays. The only things that are nearby are, The Sand Lake Hospital. The Westgate Resorts (Timeshare of course!) and The Post Office. It is about a mile from Sea World, but the road is parallel to I-4 and International Drive. So it would be better if you rent a car. Taxis are not cheap of course! This is the pain of Orlando Tourism!

Thanks a lot for your comments.
We have a rental car - its easier for travelling.
My 2 little ones take every day a look to the calender to know how long its takes until our vacation. Thats then the 7th stay in the US for the kiddies
Im so sorry about my bad english.
