Hey everyone, we are staying at the Comfort Inn on Palm Parkway in Lake Buena Vista, just wondering if anyone has stayed there or around there, are there a lot of things to do within walking distance ie: food, gift shops

Thanks!

Hi, We are staying here 26th Dec-6th Jan got a great rate of $37 incl tax. here in UK.
Follow link below for other posts on the hotel. also link to tripadvisor.
I am not expecting a luxury resort, but what I read its adequate for what we need. All we want is somewhere to sleep as we won't be in unil parks close and back out when they open.
Some reviews say its not good but the majority have had a happy stay.

Hi, I have stayed in this hotel before and we have reservations again for the first full week of December. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but it is not a five star by any means. The staff are great, friendly and accomodating. The rooms are clean. We stay in a double, and they all come with a small fridge and a microwave. The rooms are all outside entry, however the hotel has good security staff, and it is well lit. The hotel is not far from Downtown Disney, and yes, you can walk to many restaurants from the hotel. The hotel also offers a free continental breakfast (a pretty good one too). Good luck and enjoy your stay!

I agree with all the above posters. DH and I stayed in March. We just wanted a clean place to lay our head at the end of the night and this place fit the bill.

They do offer a free continental breakfast buffet. This included cereal, donuts, waffles and some fruit, as well as juices, coffee and milk. They also have a regular buffet that you can pay for that offers all the hot stuff. If you are going to take advantage of either buffet, I suggest you get there early. We were usually there around 8 am and the line would be out the door. One morning they did have the continental buffet at the pool, which was nice.

There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby, but I wouldn't recommend walking to them. They are all along a very busy road. The Crossroads shopping center is nearby.

I stayed there for a week in August. I actually preferred the Hampton Inn which is like next door however Hampton was a lot more money than the Comfort so we stayed at the Comfort. One thing, if you have trouble sleeping because of noise, request a room facing the parking lot. the back of the hotel faces I-4 and it is very noisy. I had to switch rooms because of it. The air conditioner does drown out the noise but the room got so cold that we had to turn the air off. The free continental breakfast was not much unless you like cereal and toast. I feel it is in a very convenient location. We actually ate at Subway everynight which was located right down the street. There is also a Cici's pizza place within walking distance and I have heard that it is all you can eat pizza for only $4 or $5. We didn't go because I like Subway. Also if you need to mail something back home there is a post office very close. Like other poster stated, there is a microwave and frig in room. There is a security booth with a guard at all times to get in. Was somewhat clean. I would stay again if I got a good rate.

In 1994, 1999, 2005 & 2006.

Worked out great because of the location & $$$$.
We are out & about all day and really just need the place for sleeping. This hotel is clean & comfy and a great deal.

VERY close to shops, food, entertainment and the PARKS!!! (you can see the hotel right off of I-4)
I still remember my way arround Palm Parkway too.
Very easy location for driving.

Have a fun vacation!!!

We stayed at Courtyard LBV in Aug and think Palm Parkway is the best location out of all the places we have stayed in Orlando, Would have liked to have gone back for Xmas but it was $149 plus tax compared to Comfort Inn at $37 incl tax.
We tried CiCi's 3 of us incl drinks just over $16, choice of around 10-12 pizza's, pasta, salad and 2 desserts. Very basic place to eat but food was great. Will be going back.
