Just a heads up for anyone going between now and May, the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista has a great rate going on of $32 including breakfast!
Best deal we've seen recently. Hope it helps s/o :)

It's through Travelzoo - here's the link:

Not my favourite hotel but I know others have no problems with it. Has to be a consideration if looking for a budget hotel, just now there isn't much better for £25/night (+$10/day internet), great spot.
Wonder why I didn't get my Travelzoo email last week?

It is a very basic hotel - but I would avoid the breakfast - not great - even though it is free.

Do not eat dinner there - very bland:crazy2:

Never stayed there personally and I've read mixed reviews, but still a great deal compared to what's out there at the mo.
:)

We stayed at the comfort inn last year for 2 nights before heading down to Tampa. When we got to our block of rooms we had quite a shock as it was full of teens there for grad weekend!! :confused3 they were all in the car park waiting for buses and running about, needless to say we were dreading the next 2 days... but in all honesty it was fine, once we were in our room we didn't hear a thing, not even the I4 that our room was facing!! LOL

If I was looking for a cheap couple of nights again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

If I was looking for a cheap hotel and nothing else available then I would consider it and give it another chance, our problem was we went Xmas (2006) when we checked in they were turning prople away(sending them to Rosen, Idrive) as they were overbooked. They just could not cope with the amount of people they had, our Bed was clean but room was filthy, could write my name in the dust on the safe. I guess mothballed and used for Xmas and very busy times. One morning had a cockroach in my shoe, doesn't bother us but it would some.
Some people complain of I4 noise but we sleep thru anything so that did not bother us.
I checked price for May half term £25/night (+$10 internet) for £30/night the Best western Lakeside(192) is available with free internet, location not quite as good but hotel twice as good.

Stayed there April 07, and didn't enjoy it at all, it put a little bit of a damper on our honeymoon, room was poor, dark corridors and lots of kids from coach parties hanging around on the landings.

Wouldn't stay there again, complained and the manager wouldn't even see us, as it was prepaid(By Us). Breakfast was poor and if you opt for the hot breakfast (paid extra) it's not much better.

Watch out for the travel agent in reception selling Time-share in disguise.

The best thing about this hotel was the free Wifi access in reception area.

good hotel for the price. would definately stay there for that price.

walking distance to lots of eateries and cross roads.
