Comfort food

freshly made, using milk to mash, butter, freshly ground black pepper, and freshly ground sea salt..only thing that works for me!

Golden Glow Potatoes! It's Diced, boiled potatoes, mixed with sour cream, melted butter, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper, and baked. So very good and it's on the menu for tomorrow night.

What time should I be there?

Really, if I was gay, I would marry you just for those potatoes. And you could have whatever kind of bedspread on the bed you wanted! :lmao:

What is a golden glow potatoe?

I do this but I also add minced garlic and sometimes real bacon bits.

If my mom is cooking mashed pototes, fried chicken, and cream gravy. :woohoo: If I'm cooking a very cold coke and a bag of cheddar sour cream potato chips. :rolleyes2

Salmon, ice cream, oreo cookies, sometimes homemade mac and cheese but I never make MAc & Cheese. Cheesecake

Anyone care to share their homemade mac and cheese recipe. I have been looking for a good thick and creamy one for a very long time!!

Super chunk peanut butter and grape jelly on white bread. And a big glass of chocolate milk. Obviously I'm comforted by transporting myself back to the age of six :lmao: .

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Thanks, I think! And maybe there are tropics in Minnesota! :rotfl: For that, I'll look up the recipe and post it... :teeth:

Golden Glow Potatoes

6 Potatoes
2 Cups Sour Cream
2 Cups Cheddar Cheese
1/3 Cup Green Onion, sliced fine (optional)
1/3 Cup Butter or Margarine, melted
Salt and Pepper to taste

Peel and dice potatoes. Boil until barely tender.

Grate cheese and add to sour cream, butter, salt, pepper, and onions. Mix in potatoes lightly and bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour.

I often double the recipe since it reheats well, even though it's dryer when it reheats (still good, though).
