JJ got his part for the next play for his special needs theatre troupe. He will be Rafunzel's prince in Fabulously Funny Fairytales. Not a misprint, it's a spoof on the actual fairytale.

Congratulations to JJ! It sound like it's going to be "fun" production!

Here's hoping I will one day be able to say we are 3 weeks meltdown free. The ocd presents enough challenges. It's nice to deal with only those right now.

Plans for today include voice lessons, acting lessons then Epcot to check out the F&G Festival. Of course in between is school work. If things go as planned he should be done with all his 2nd grade work before SWW ever starts!

I know! The longest stretch he's ever made was 2 months. It would be great to see even longer than that. Keeping cool temperature-wise makes a big difference for him. But our cool weather isn't going to last forever.

The kids are going to have so much fun doing this play.

Great! I know he will love and cherish the cape.

Would love to live close enough to WDW or even DL to just pop in for a few hour's to check out things. Good luck at getting all his work done before SWW!!

Thank you. I truely believe he's seizure free the last 3 weeks thanks to everyone's thoughts and prayers.

It was a difficult decision for us to make to move here and leave our family and friends. Of course since we've moved we've seen the same amount if not more of them down here visiting. Though that all changed in 2010 when JJ started having uncontrollable seizures and the stress of people visiting us made them worse.

Disney has been one of THE BEST therapies for him. He's come a long way in these few years. I can't wait to post pictures of the Oz playground. It's for ages 5 to 12 and he was able to do so many things there. Usually there is only 1 or 2 things he can do at a playground. Or the things he can do are limited to only preschool or to a certain height. The Oz playground is perfect!

JJ got Mickey Mail today!! He was soooo excited he was bouncing up and down like Tigger.

Jackie (lilfoot93) sent him a package! He was thrilled to get mail, and even more thrilled with what was inside.

Her family is a MAW family. Her son Trevor's wish is to go to SWW!!

(JJ has been working on a package for Trevor, but it got delayed as we had to focus on the hats for the theater. This is the last weekend of Hello Dolly. JJ and dh can get back to their SW crafts.)

I handed him each thing one by one. First was a letter from Jackie. He was so happy. He kept saying, "I can't believe they sent me something. This letter is so nice." He liked the solid green on one side of the notecard and polka dots on the back.

Loved the tatoos and stickers

He was very impressed with Trevor's letter. He loved the pictures he drew on the bottom.

He was confused when I handed him the belt. He was trying very hard to figure out what it was and what to do with it.

And when he figured out it was a Jedi Robe and that was the belt, he began flapping and jumping.

He had to test it out with a light sabor, the General Grievous one, his favorite.

Last night, Trevor and JJ got the chance to talk on the phone. I know JJ is so excited to meet Trevor at SWW.

How nice of Trevor to send a package to JJ! You could tell that he was really thinking about what to do with that belt. He was turning it this way and that way and giving it the once over. He looked so excited when he realized what it was. I bet he couldn't get the robe on fast enough!

Yesterday, JJ was such a stinker. He and his daddy had a birthday present for me sitting on the kitchen table since Tuesday morning. He taunted me all day yesterday that he knows what's in there but he won't tell me. He gave me clues. Said it was the Horton Hears a Who movie. Another time he told me it was jewelry to replace my broken Mickey earings. Then he told me it was something else. He called me mom and told her what it was, but then she taunted me too. They all know I HATE surprises. I'm so type A.

Jj even measured it for me.

After baseball practice I opened it. It was Dr. Who DVDs. Dr. Who...Horton Hears a Who. I can see how he got it confused. We watched one of the DVDs and while eating Chinese food. It was a great birthday and JJ declared it...you know it...the best day ever!

It was super nice! Yes, I handed one thing at a time to him. He had no idea it was a belt, he was trying to figure out what to do with it. I'm sure without anything else he would have suspended some toy in the air, like he does with Grumpy's fishing line. Those toys are flying!

Oh, he was beyond excited. I had the camera set for quick movements and it still blurred from his jumping and flapping.

He loves his robe! Actually it's his first ever robe. He said it's so special because his new friends made it for him and it's his first one.

It will be so nice when we all meet. I'm sure the boys will get along famously. Since there are 2 sisters, JJ was wondering if he could borrow one, lol. He wants a little sister so badly. He thinks that it's incredible that Trevor has too little sisters.

Thank you so much for the package. I can't begin to use words to express his excitement. The first thing I gave him was the note from you and he was bouncing with excitement from it. "Somebody wrote to me!" "I can't believe it!" "I got a package, I can't believe I got a package!"

The excitement continued to build as one by one I took something out of the package.


Wouldn't it be nice if they could meet this weekend. I will be very careful not to mention the June word to JJ.

JJ would be more than happy to talk to the girls too. I never know what will come out of his mouth though.

On Tuesday night, my niece had a baby girl. Since JJ wants a little sister so badly he said that he would love to see this new baby. He wants to teach her adding, subtracting, and division and he thinks she would like science too. He was so excited and dead serious.

Yes!! Trevor had a birtday party and all the kids wore Star Wars robes like they sent him. I showed JJ the party pictures on their PTR. Made it more exciting and he wanted to know if he was going to the party too. I told him they already had the party and it's too far away. He wore it to celebrate mine.
