Thank you so much for sharing the video. It was great to see your daughter having such a magical time.

I am not sure if you can answer this, but I will ask anyway ( I should just call BBB and ask them)

We have reservations for 10/2 before MNSSHP. One dd is dressing as Princess Jasmine and the other is dressing as Snow White. The Princess Jasmine daughter wants to have her hair like Princess Jasmine (braided) and the Snow White daughter already has hair like Snow White...she wants to look just like her. When I put her red bow headband in, I just have to adjust her curls a bit and she is dead on.

So...am I making a mistake going there. I mean, will they only do the Cinderella hairdo for a fairytale makeover? Sorry this is so long...I have just been confused about this.

Pam :confused3

There are 3 hairdo's to pick from: FairyTale, Pop, or Diva. Muriel's was FairyTale and mine was Pop; the Diva hairdo is long and hangs down. They don't do specific styles for each princess. (As in, no braids for Jasmine --- which really stinks, doesn't it?)

You might want to call and see if they'll be flexible at all. When you check in for your appt they give you an 'invitation' with the 3 hairstyles and you have to pick one. I didn't see anyone get anything else. SORRY!

How long did it take you to get from BBB to MK? What time was your BBB appt and what time was lunch in the castle?
Thanks,
Suzanne

BBB 10:30. CRT 12:05, but we didn't get there until 12:15. We caught a cab right outside the photo session at DTD and it took 10-15 minutes to drive us over to MK, where we had to ride the monorail. I didn't think we could do it, but we did.

Thanks so much for doing this so we could all see it. I have an appt. for DD's 5th birthday and now I want to get an appt. as well with her! We have CRT for breakfast so she won't be able to go dressed up from BBB to it but at least she will still have her dress for the meal!
Thanks again!

The video was awesome! Can you tell me/us how you did it? I'd love to do something like this from our trip last year (my DD2's 1st trip).

I thought your fairy godmother looked familiar - DD had Rose for her makeover in April. She was great, wasn't she? What a great job to have!

You both looked great!

That was such a great video...thanks so much for sharing. I'm taking my DD 2 weeks from today and we too are heading over to Cinderalla Castle but I didn't make an appointment for me :scratchin .

That was so sweet...you are a great mom to join your dd with a makeover! I now have to find a way to convince my 11 y/o dd to have a makeover, it looks like so much fun! Did you see many older (preteen) girls getting makeovers, or is it mostly the younger ones?

Thanks so much for sharing that!! Now I might need to somehow add BBB into our plans!! That looked so cute!!

Looks like you guys had a blast. Your dd looks adorable in her pictures, I love the close up. The little mickey clip in her hair is so cute could someone buy that there seperately or do you have to get your hair done there to get it? I hadn't booked my dd for our Dec trip because I can do the same hairstyles and stuff in her hair but now I'm thinking it might be worth it just for the experience. :goodvibes

If you use a Mac, there is a program called iMovie. If you use a PC w/ Windows, the program is Windows MovieMaker --- it should be on your PC. it's easy; just import digital photos and away you go! I then save it to my computer and post it on YouTube.com. Once you get started on the program, it's pretty easy.

Send me a message if you want any help! I'm taking a Technology class in my Master's program and posting videos online is an OBSESSION!!!!

There were lots of people there - a range of ages. It was funny, though, because some of the moms were like "I didn't know I could do it too!" DD is 4 and she was one of the younger ones. I bet if you & DD do it together you'll have a BLAST! :cheer2:

Take care, Rebecca

We are doing this with my 2 daughters on Saturday and I can't wait!!! They don't know we are doing it, will surprise them when we get there. We are bringing our own costumes... one is Belle and one is Sleeping Beauty. I had emailed them (disney world) because I was concerned because my older dd has a very short pixie cut hairdoo (something she oops did to herself a few weeks after I made the reservation for bbb) and they assured me they would be able to achieve the fairy tale princess hair do, so i'm assuming it will be thanks to hair extentions? I just hope it doesn't look to fake... LoL. My dd will be thrilled any way though. My younger dd has chin length hair so will be interested to see what they do there too...

Anyone have experiance with short hair at BBB yet? Or see someone there with short hair getting the fairy tale do done?

My DD had this done in June and loved it. I have already made her another appointment in October. We are going to the MNSSHP so she is going to the BBB in the morning. You can call 407 WDW STYLE to make an appointment. If you are using a cellphone then leave off the E as it messes up the phonecall.

Thanks so much for sharing your video. My husband and I were debating whether our 3-year old would be too young for this. After seeing your video I know it is something she will really love!! :wizard:

One question for you...do they wash and dry your hair before styling? Thanks!

i don't have any kids, but i am SO desperate to do this it's unreal! do you think they'd giggle at a 23 year old going by herself?!

So cute! I can't wait until DD is old enough!
