Come One Come All,Maybe 4 trips in 1? WHAT DID WE DO??? 6/29!

So it's been a whirlwind lately...We got audited at work this past week which is 1000 times worse then XMAS time in retail. I worked 80 hours and am drained...In the midst we put in an offer on a house--but there are 3 offers all pretty similar and it went to a bank for review (foreclosure) so we are sitting on pins and needles waiting. I HATE WAITING!!!

TC's stimulus check went in the back today and I want to apply it to our trip--BUT when we went to the gas station the other day both our debit cards were declined (with a significant amount of $$ in the account) . Upon further investigation it seems that out cards have been compromised with possible fraud and the bank canceled them ---which STINKS because there was no warning and we aren't using credit for ANYTHING due to trying to move. P'd me off thats for sure.

Not much else new besides working like a crazy person with no extra pay (ugh salary can stink sometimes) and trying to get this house.

So pray for me we get it (or actually pray that whatever is MEANT to be will be) and I'll be back on soon. I still haven't uploaded photos to the laptop so I have to get on that soon so I can start the pre-trippie. This one will be fun since there are 8 of us!

That's very strange...y'all should have been called by the bank way if they were investigating fraud. Really, they should have called you before they even CONSIDERED any fraud. That's just really odd. I sure hope no one at the bank is trying something.

EEEEE--I just saw this and remember the deal we had G but it wasn't my fault this time I SWEAR!!! It was all TC and my friend..How could I turn down Disney when everyone else wanted to go? We are still talking about our original plan to have a small summer 2009 wedding. I actually have settled on a venue (though I'd love to do it Disney style) and TC thinks my place is a great idea. Out of Boston Harbor on the Seaport Elite Yacht. About 25 people and a night of drinking and dancing while cruising on the water.
So I didn't back out of the deal---just I threw another trip to Disney in there before then

Hey girl! I have today off so I am hitting up the Disney store to get some surprises for the trip---I love that my friend and her family is going for the first time. I want to do so many special things for them and surprise them as much as possible. I originally wanted everything we are doing to be new and a surprise but she sat with me while we picked ADR's and I gave her my spreadsheet with what we are doing. But some cute little unexpecteds are being thrown in.

I like a hectic life..When it slows down I get bored and the ADD in me kicks in (I sometimes wonder if I really do have ADD! LOL)

I am so nervous about this house stuff...We need to fully make an in law apartment in the basement wherever we move to since we are moving TC's mom in with us and out of her crappy apartment. That'll be interesting.

Yah, working all those hours are sickening when you realize that you aren't getting paid extra. Maybe they'll reward us with an extra day off soon. I WISH! LOL

Anything new with you? I am going to head your way and read to find out. Are you going to have a running TR like mine or start a new one? Its so hard to seperate them I think so I have this one that still hasn't been shut down. I hope it doesn't

haha..I would LOVE to---but we'd stay at the Beach Club or one of them and only do Epcot (my fave park) and go to shows like La Nouba and have a kick back time. But we are thinking a cruise from Boston may be the way to go instead since we need to broaden the vacations. Though I am sure I'll miss Disney and feel like a cheater! LOL

I am down to 105 days---so I am ALMOST in the double digits! Time is going to FLY! I can't believe its been a year since I wrote my pre-trippie..I just went back and re-read it. I was SO much more involved and excited...and PREPARED--not so much this time.

OMG I am SOOOOO sorry to hear about your doggie! I would be beside myself. I pray that you find him. That is so scary. My pooches are like my children. Please keep me updated!

So my boss (the one I planned the WDW trip for) left for Disney yesterday! She was so excited and nervous before she went and grilled me for over a week with everything she could possibly know---little tips I could give her and ways to make her trip perfect. I am sure she'll have a great time but all day yesterday I was feeling SOOO much jealousy! I planned this trip with her and she was there..I know I go in 3 months but it stinks ,
I am looking forward to her coming home with pics and stories to tell though.

So we just pulled our offer from the house we were in love with. It was a foreclosure and the bank was giving us a run around...No doubt waiting for a better offer to come their way--AND not too long after we pulled it, the house went under agreement. My realtor called and asked the broker and he said they recieved an offer over asking price. Sigh--I figured...

But we are looking for land as we are at the point where building might be our #1 option. Im so nervous but TC is confident.

I went to the Disney store yesterday-----to start buying Disney Dollars----THEY ARE OUT!!!! grrrr When I asked when they expected more they said "not for quite some time" they have been out for weeks and can't get them i was told
I wanted to start the kids fund and I can't...I always buy a small amount a week until the trip.

I did buy a new pair of CROCS capris yesterday @ Dicks for the trip---In my last report I bought the brown ones---this year I bought black...I LOVE the carpris!!!

But that is about all Ive bougth so far. gotta get moving--Im never like this--usually i am already packing at 3 months out! LMAO!

MORE SHOPPING!!

So i placed on oder on WDW shopping the other day and got a bathing suit for $7.99 for my best friends daughter, 2 tanks, sunglasses, flip flops and a towel (her birthday is next week)
Then for myself I got the evil queen shirt--WHICH is now on sale for $11.99!!! I should have waited a few days!

I also bought Ashley and myself the Alice Crocs (I need em for work also for comfort)

Trae got a new pair of crocs

OK, time to head to work...We just paid off our trips this week but we still have a lot to spend $$ on...like the limo to the airport and saving tip $$ for our sit down meals, and souvie $$ for the kids....SO worth it...only 72 more days!

OK so we booked our limo..I know it is money we should have saved but it ended up costing with tip round trip for all 8 of us $386. I don't think thats too bad considering we didn't know how 8 of us would get to Logan Airport.

This is the car we reserved ( there is no front passenger seat so all bags will fit

Nothing spectacluar (the kids asked for a hummer or something like that but the prices due to gas was CRAZY!)

Next, my best friend and I bought out all the Disney Dollars from our local Disney store ---$100 per kid---so $400 worth yesterday...WOOOOOPS!

I also bought a bunch more matching T's at the Disney store since they are $4.99 again...We got the guys Anger Management Grumpy T's...thought it was fitting

Hmmm, BF's daughters birthday party is Saturday and it is going to be all Disney Princess themed. Her son still doesn't know about Disney.
We set up an Enchanted Call from Mickey for Friday (last day of school)---a congrats one that says how proud his mom is of how he did in school---then she'll give him a Mickey card with Disney Dollars and a gift bag with his new crocs and T-shirts.
We are going to have Trae (my lil man) call Jalen at 4:30 once he knows about it so they can talk about it. Trae is so excited that he doesn't have to keep the secret anymore and can talk about it.

So I am sure I have more updates, but I need my morning starbucks..I'll try and come back in a bit and update more

Its not a cost that I wanted to have either...but I guess trying to get 8 people to the airport (dropped off as to not have to pay gas, parking, etc) would have been a hassle..One that I decided was money well spent in this case. LOL

just about an hour...on a good day and depends whos driving we could be there in 40-45 minutes..but there is always detours and road construction in Boston.

Do I get another surprise? hahahaha kids! He didn't get that we are so close to our trip until she showed him the calendar and then Mickey called on his enchanted call (which was 20 minutes late BTW).

Her daughters birthday party was this past Saturday. I need to get my hand on the pics too--EVERYONE got her Disney themed items...I love it! I gave her a suitcase filled to the brim with DIsney items and she is SO set with Tshirts and accessories.
She is only 3 and when I gave her hot pink and brown "Hannah Montana hair" the first comment she made was "Im wearing this on the plane to Disneyworld!" SOOO cute.

We are going to work on our countdown calendar this weekend. It is Trae's 8th birthday Saturday so we are possibly going into Boston for the day with my nieces and him to see what he wants to do....if it rains we'll find something else, maybe Dave and Busters and Imax theaters...hmmmm

Not much else to report..I think I lost most of my readers when I didn't finish my last report anyway....Time to maybe break away from this one and start fresh with *hopefully* a catchy title that will draw in readers again.

So here it is ..just 49 days from vacation--we are all paid off, just now trying to stash cash for tips and some activities and we let TC's cousin (our realtor) talk us into seeing a house the we wanted to see months ago but it went under agreement. Seems the buyer pulled out when he found something else and its back on...
SO no biggie we go by and within 20 minutes we put in an offer..the prices was $75,000 less then we first wanted to look at it, it has 4 bedrooms 2 baths (I wanted 3, but im not complaining!) and a newly remodeled kitchen...the bathrooms need work and so do some of the rooms---not that new windows, interior doors and paint can't fix.

WE GOT THE HOUSE!!!! THe offer was accepted (short sale and about the be in foreclosure--literally 3 weeks away!) by the bank and we have a 30 day close. We are signing the purchase and sale in the morning, paying our $3,000 deposit and having the home inspection tomorrow @ 4! I am FREAKING OUT!!!

That means moving BEFORE our trip!! Just 2 weeks before our trip--I could scream. We are going to have to pinch some pennies to make this all work out right (we need a fridge, washer dryer, and small things to move) and still have spending $$ for Disney.

So I needed to tell someone---I am trying to keep it inside in case something goes wrong at inspection tomorrow---but if all goes well I'll be a new home owner on July 30th!!!

We haven't gotten to get the calendar done yet..things are just nutty here.

Today is the home inspection so we'll see how that goes. We need to remodel a few things so we are trying to hold on to as much cash reserves as possible...BAD TIMING I say...But I am excited and *if* this works out and we get the house I will have to learn to budget better.

I'm glad u are still sticking around Cheri! I at least have 1 person to talk to LOL!
