We will be traveling with another family in November. If we both have reservations (one family for 4 and one family for 5) at the same restaurant close to the same time, will they seat us near each other if requested at checkin? We wouldn't mind waiting longer if necessary, just wasn't sure if that was even a possibility. Our other option is that we have reservations for 8 at several restaurants. For some of them, as mentioned, the other family will have a 5th person. If 9 show up for a reservation that is for 8, will they seat the extra person? Again, I'm not sure that is even possible, but hate to release the reservations for 8 if anyone thinks that this is possible. Thank you so much for any info you can provide! Can't tell you all how much this is stressing me out!
