I am thinking about purchasing the new Combi City Savvy for our trip to WDW in July. Last year we took our BIG Jeep Cherokee Stroller, and it was way too big for the buses. I was ready to purchase, but saw that some people are not happy with Combi. My 16 month son is about 22lbs, and I really only want to spend $100 on a stroller. Anybody really like the Savvy? ::MickeyMo

I had a Savvy Z that I loved. But it's the only higher-end stroller I ever owned, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

We took the Savvy Z to Disney and it was GREAT - very light weight & very easy to fold quickly for getting on/off monorail & buses - it weighs only 7 lbs and came w/ a shoulder strap to sling over our shoulders - I would highly recommend the Savvy Z.

I had this stroller in an earlier model (2002 or '03 not sure) and really liked it when I first got it. It is a great light weight stroller for younger children. The only thing I did not like about it is that my DD outgrew it pretty quickly. The stroller became difficult to handle as she gained weight. Once she hit 30+ pounds I could not really use it. I ended up replacing it with the Maclaren Triumph which is much smoother and handles higher weights much better. My DD6 can still ride in it. I like to get a deal on anything and I really think the Mac is a deal for the significantly longer time you will be able to use it. You can get the 2004 model on Ebay for $90 and the 2005 for $119.

I loved my Combis. I've had the single and the double. I don't think they
are incredibly durable, but for their size, weight and compactness, they can't be beat! We've brought both to Disney and they were awesome for taking on the bus, etc.

Hope that helps!

I LOVE my COMBI SAVVY!!!!
It's so lightweight but has is so easy to control even one handed!!! I have probably owned 10 strollers and my last two have both been Combi's.

We have a a new baby coming (she will be 6 months at the time of WDW trip) and a three yr old (along with a 5 and 7 yr old) I have been researching and had just decided on purchasing the Maclauren Triumph. We will also take the Baby Bjorn so the baby can do an either/or and then the stroller can be used by the three yr old if need be. The older two can walk and we feel pretty confident they won't need anything (we do up to three mile family walks) and we plan to implement a nightly walking trek a few months before we go in hopes of helping them to work up their walking times (read that in the unofficial guide :) ) We also plan to have a very loose schedule that includes a mid day break back at our onsite lodgings for naps/quiet time/refueling.
