Columbus Day

Historically, any week that contains a holiday means the parks are more crowded as people choose to travel when they don't need to take a day off work or pull the kids out of school as many days.

A holiday = busier week.

I had the same question. That Sunday-Wednesday is the only days we can go and I’m worried it’s going to be so crowded it may be miserable. Saving up for Genie+ and $LL so hopefully that will help.

One good thing about holiday weekends is park hours are typically longer. It takes a bit more planning to deal with the crowds but you can actually get a lot done with a smart plan.

I hadn’t thought of that. Between the possibly longer hours and doing MNSSHP one night hopefully we can still get a lot done. Haven’t been since 2019 and I know a lot has changed. So just trying to get up to speed on all the new things to plan.

There may not be a huge difference, though based on ticket prices the week before Columbus Day is slightly higher priced so that is when WDW expects higher crowds.
