Colour Change Shop

We're off on Wonder in a couple of weeks and I think I remember reading something somewhere about a shop with stuff in that changes colour in Nassau. Can anyone fill me in on the details? Thanks.

I can't remember the name - I'm sure someone else can fill in the blank! - but I know that if you head down the main drag toward the straw market, you'll walk right past it, on the side of the street closer to the dock.

Yes. I saw those t-shirts when we were on the 4-day Wonder Jan 16-20. They are grey in color and had dolphins (3 or 4 of them) jumping out of the ocean. In the store they were completely grey with the black outline of the dolphins and sea (maybe had a sun too...I can't remember). Then when I stepped into the sunlight they dophins and sea turned blue and green and grey and I think the sun turned yellow. They were really neat but cost $12.00 each and to buy for all of my neices was to expensive for me.

They're Del Sol and they are in more then one port. We hit at least two and we weren't in Nassau on our cruise.

The dolphin picture that I saw on the t-shirts is on the tote bag. Funny how memory plays tricks on you. There is no sun and only 2 dolphins. Oh well. They are really cool to watch change colors.

My DS8 chose a shirt at Del Sol in Nassau during our January cruise. The price on the shirts was $18 -- and no, there was no bargaining. They had a variety of prints to choose from, not just dolphins. There were 2 different shops about 2 blocks apart. Even the bag changes color.

They have color change nail polish which my dd really lovesl......

and the hair accessories are neat too....

I think the adult sized t-shirt we bought was $26. (they did have cheaper ones but I didn't care for the styles)

If you take the shopping map they give you at the ship they will give you a free gift. (which was just a color change ring but free nonetheless)

The shopping people on the boat also had coupons for a free tote if you bought 2 t-shirts or $10 off a tote w/o T purchase but you had to ask for them.

Yes, take note that there are at least 2 in Nassau. DS was not able to get his first choice at the first one and we did not know there was another. He was a little bummed when we came across the second one. Oldest DS bought a shirt for a friend and had them ring the 2 up together so we could get the tote free!!!!

I brought back some stuff from that store for my teen DD who didn't come on the cruise with us. Some of that polish too. I brought back so much stuff for her (guilt) that I forgot to tell her the polish changed color.
She loves coordinationg all her outfits, polish and all. She put on the grey glittery one to match some grey & blue outfit she was wearing. While we were in the car she said she swore she put on silver/grey polish, but it was red. LOLOL I still didn't let on until she wanted to go back to get the bottle!! It was so funny.
