The Tag Fairy had a field day on that Captain Underpants thread. If you look through the posts you can see that a lot of people got tagged with their Captain Underpants name! I guess the names were more amusing on that one than on the Pirate name thread.

DS is a big fan of Captain Underpants, so not only did I already know my name (which I won't post so as not to get tagged with it) but I know how to do the Wedgie Wiggle, the Waistband Watusi, the Toilet Top Tango and the Big Butt Boogie.

If you'd ever seen me do the Wedgie Wiggle or the Big Butt Boogie, you'd know that I do them proudly. There is nothing more entertaining, however, than watching DS doing the Big Butt Boogie!

Did you know that if you walk up to the gate at Elitch Gardens this summer and buy a one-day ticket you will pay $45? Did you also know that if you buy a season pass online before June 18, you will pay $55?

I thought that was pretty amazing, so we went ahead and bought season passes. Of course, based on our WDW trip, we learned that DS is a thrillseeker like his mom and dad, and he has asked to go to Elitch Gardens this year, so we knew it would be a safe investment.

You forgot to add that in order to get that $55 price you need to buy 4 season passes at one time. I love Elitches!!!!!

I don't think this is true. Nowhere on the web page does it indicate that you need to buy a minimum number.

If that is the case then I am sooooo excited!!!! Every year it states that you have to purchase 4 to get that price. $55 is nothing for a season pass, then I can lay out at the water park all the time!!!!

Check the website. You have to buy your pass online and it has to be before June 18. All the details are there.

Don't forget the wonderful parking fee every time you go there...$10 here, $10 there... There's no magic at Elitch Gardens. On the up side, your season pass will get you admission to all of six flags' parks. Magic Mountain...now that's a fun park!

On the website, they said that you can buy a parking pass for $35.

I think it is horrible to PAY to park to PAY for admission. The revenue they generate has to be tremendous! Do they really have to charge for parking?

They really do charge for parking, same as Disney does. I think the last time I was there it was $8. So I exaggerated.

I bet the reason why the charge for parking is because it is downtown. If they didn't charge, I am sure that parking lot would fill up quickly because no where else you would get free parking in downtown.

And they would never miss a chance to make a buck!! Actually it's a very convenient place to park to catch events at the Coors Events Center or whatever it is they call that basketball/hockey/Disney On Ice/concert venue. It's rarely crowded when Elitch's is closed, it's a short walk over the bridge to the center, and it's a whole lot easier to get back on the freeway when it's all over.

Have you been to the Disney Blowout store at Aspen Grove? It is mostly Disneyland anniversary stuff, but we managed to blow a pretty big wad of cash. It is only open for another week.
