Thanks for the welcome! We cruise on the 9/28 Wonder. I have not bought plane tickets yet as I am waiting to see what dates the Halloween Party is scheduled for as I want to try to hit that at the same time. We have done the Christmas party but never Halloween but if the timing is right we want to try it.

We prefer to fly Frontier but last year I got tickets on Delta for $125 Round Trip! I always watch for the fares and if something good comes along I will jump on them.

Keep us updated of you find any good airfare prices because we are sailing in September also. I went to the Halloween Party in 2004 and it was so much fun and well worth it. It was a lot of fun trick-or-treating with the kids and the decorations are so cool!!!

I just found this thread and wanted to pop in. We live in Highlands Ranch and while we are frequent visitors to WDW we just finally booked our first cruise. We are starting small (3 nights) but hopefully will get to do the seven night one soon!

It seems like we all start small and then they hook us. We started with a 4 day and have gone every year since then with 7 dayers and for the repo 14 day cruise. We are definitely hooked and then got our adult kids hooked. Welcome to our CO thread. Please keep us posted if you hear of any good plane fares. I have done both parties at WDW and absolutely want to do them again. I think that MVMCP is my favorite. If you see #1DISfan around, she is from Highlands Ranch as well. She is Pooh Friends twin and they are my DD's.

That is great your DD love Disney. I am working on my boys now. I think DS6 is hooked as he is always planning our next trip. He is trying to convince me to sneak down in the spring to ride Expedition Everest. We will have to see about DS4 - he could take it or leave it.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we just got tickets to Orlando for $109 round trip. Well, actually my mom got the tickets for all of us in August. It is Delta and has one stop. We prefer nonstops, but for the price we couldn't pass them up.

Wow! Congrats on that score! I looked up airfare for Thanksgiving and got a huge dose of sticker shock...

DD's geography teacher asked the class to watch The Amazing Race because it went to interesting places. I've never bothered to watch it because I can't stand reality shows, but we tuned in and lo and behold! They started at Red Rocks,

I enjoyed seeing the scenes at the airport, laughed at the people trying to navigate there...come on, it's a straight shot down I-70! I will be there myself on Friday. I'm goin' to Disneyland!!

I believe this is my first post on this thread. I'm From Colorado Springs and we're taking our first Disney Cruise this October. I was hoping to find other Coloradoans that would be on our same cruise, but looking through this thread I didn't see any. Western 7-Day October 7, 2006.

There are 5 of us. DH, myself, DS 12, DS-twins 13 (turning 14 second day of cruise). We are going to WDW for a week before our cruise. The boys know about WDW but the cruise is still a surprise and I hope to keep it that way before we sail. My DH and I took a cruise for our honeymoon (RCL) so this will be our second cruise and first for the boys.

One of the twins saw me on the disboards tonight, saw my signon name and asked if he could access these boards on their computer.
It's going to be hard keeping this a secrest (oops sorry, I'm watching American Idol as I'm typing), I mean secret for the next 7 months! Any suggestions for being a newbie to DCL or for keeping the secret going let me know.

Thanks for the update on the airfare Christi. We have flown Delta before for around that price. Last time we went to Salt Lake and then to Orlando so it wasn't to bad. Just check your flights every so often because if they change times they often do not reassign your seats and you need to go back into the website and rechoose them.

Thanks for the heads up about the seats. They did have a flight that went through SLC, but we opted for the one going through Atlanta. It didn't make sense to go west first to me and the price was the same for both.
