Is it possible to transfer early out of the CP into a Temp Assignment? And if I do get the TA, will I be a full fledged Disney employee with benefits and such? So confused.
 
Sometimes. I have a friend who was allowed to leave his CP early to take a management internship that started a few days before the end of his CP would have been.

The thing with going right to a TA from a CP though, is that at the end of the TA, the Company doesn't have to give you a job. A lot of times, they will make somewhat of an effort to find you something, but not necessarily what you want, or the role you were in before.

If you go from a FT union role to a TA, the company must hold your position for 6 months, or if your TA is between 6 and 12 months, they must hold a position at the same status, but not necessarily at the same location. After 12 months, they are not obligated to have a position for you. (This is why a lot of folks will do a TA for 11 months, go back to their statused area for 2 weeks, then go back to the TA)

As for whether or not you'd be benefits-eligible during your TA, I would suggest you contact Casting or the department that may be hiring you for your TA. I would say, generally, going from a CP to a TA, you would probably not be benefits eligible, because your benefits eligibility is determined by your statused role.
