Cold Weather = Fewer Crowds?

We're here 12/11-12/19 and it's the heaviest crowds we've seen in our last 3 trips. One in Feb. and one in Jan. We were surprised.

Yesterday was beautiful! The first day I could comfortably wear short sleeves all day! The only evidence of smaller crowds that I noticed was on Monday the CP Illuminations area was deserted! I think most people didn't stay for it, whereas on Thursday the crowd watching it in the area was more normal! I got to go twice, and it thrills me each time I see it.

Wait times that were listed were wrong in 2 cases and in both cases it worked in our favor by 1/2! Soarin on Monday and Toy Story on Wednesday.

PS. The GF's lobby was packed with people both times I visited.

I think the crowds were the same, they just did not last as long in the parks. Some gave up and went back to their rooms to get warm.
