It's 30 degrees here, very cold for Dallas but warm for other parts of the country. Wondered if anyone else has some cold weather stories???
I grew up in NE Montana, one of the coldest spots in the country. 30 would be a heat wave there right now
An airbase close to my hometown was used in the movie Firefox with Clint Eastwood
The scenes taken there were the ones depicting Siberia, it looked like home to me
I remember going to a concert once in HS and when we left it was fairly warm (I imagine it colder than I remember) but when we got back to the school it was -40, several people on the bus had cars waiting but since they hadn't been plugged in all day they wouldn't start. It was quite a conversation piece when we brought cars from MT to TX, no one knew what to make of the electric plug that was in the front of the car. We just told them we had electric cars there and I think a few believed us.
I visited in the winter more than 20 years ago and let my parents know I'd be back only in the summer
Talked to them today and they said it was almost warm 7degrees
Definately a matter of opinion.
