cold food at All Star Movies

I know that when you arrive at All Star Movies, check in is not until 3...they will store your luggage in the baggage check section. My concern is the cold, perishable food you have just purchased on your store run. Where can that go to stay cold, and how do they mark that it is yours? Now if they do somehow and you go into the park, will it still be there for you after the park closes and you want to check in....

I don't know that the All Stars have anywhere to store cold, perishable foods prior to checking in. I don't know if you are renting a fridge or not, but they do not always have them available immediately. You have to be in your room prior to them delivering the fridge. On my last trip we could get a fridge until the next morning. They are rented on a first come, first served basis and cannot be guaranteed unless for medical reasons.

Do you have a cooler with Ice that you can put your foor in and the bell services can keep it with your luggage?

I can't speak for the All-Stars, but at WL they put our groceries in a refrigerator until our room was ready. Maybe you call the resort and ask them.

The All Stars do have cold storage - just be sure to let them know which bags to put in the cooler/fridge.

luvpooh, thank you but yet another ? for you. Our plane lands and we do our store run and get the cold food and get to All Stars before the 3 check in...
1) have you ever known check in to be ready before 3
2) if not before 3 ready, they put your food in cold storage, what if you go to the park not to get back until say 11, where will your food be?
Thanks
We are unsure when we get there if we want to stay until completely checked in and actually know we have the room etc or put everything in storage and go to MGM

I have never had my room not ready at any resort and I always check in late morning or early afternoon. How much perishable food are you bringing? I don't think the fridge is very large.

epcotfan is correct, when I made my reservation the CM told me should would put a refrigerator as a need instead of a request, since I have an infant on formula.

dcgrumpy,
We are actually having our snacks and food like that shipped from netgrocer and stopping briefly on our store run for a small jug of milk and jelly, bread.
I don't think I will have a problem fitting that in frig will I, just the milk and jelly?
Thanks!

Jugs of milk can be purchased at the All Star Movies store. If you purchase it there that would save you the trouble of having to find cold storage prior to getting settled in your room. Jam should be fine without being in a fridge unless it has been opened.

epcotfan,
thankyou....how big are the jugs of milk, like a 'chug' size? Let me run this by you, the package you ship before you arrive states that the food has to be non perishable. I was looking at the Friday before we land(Tuesday) shipping the package. Do you personally consider bread to be perishable in that time period? If they have the milk at all stars and everything else i get from the net grocer, I hate to do a grocery run for just bread? Any hints here? We were trying to eliminate the grocery run so we would get there quicker.
Thanks again!

How about getting one of those Tupperware(or similar)containers that hold a whole package of saltines.Just the right size for a loaf of bread and you can throw it right in your luggage when you leave home.
