Coffee with dessert - Dining Plan Question

While I am not on the dining add on, but the premium plan, I know that TS meals are generally treated the same. On all of our previous trips we were able to get a soda with the meal and then coffee/tea/hot chocolate with our desserts. Is this still the case? Any firsthand recent reports?

We were on the dining plan in September. At CRT for dinner, when my DSIL had a coffee with his dessert the waitress did inform him that it was extra (He had already had coke with his meal).

I have a feeling that it may depend on the server/restaurant too.
I just want to warn DH2B ahead of time if things have changed rather than have him surprised when he asks for coffee.

Just got Monday and used the plan. Some places charged extra for the
coffee, some did not. It varries with the server too I think. When we were
at a counter servicer place I told my DD age 8 that she needed to order
off the children menu, the cashier corrected me and said she could have
anything she wanted. She ordered off the children's menu anyway but just
be aware the rules seem to change from place to place.

We'll have even more food - 3 meals/day is included with ours, but somehow we manage to finish just about everything

I had to pay out of pocket for coffee with my dessert when we were there on the new dining plan.

I had the premium plan a few weeks ago. I ate at Jiko and had coffee and dessert with the plan. Only thing i paid extra and out of pocket was my glass
of wine on a seperate bill.

Thanks for all the responses Its no big deal to pay a few bucks for coffee but of course if we don't have to...
I'll be sure to give a full report when we get back. Only a few more days now.
