Coffee/Tea Exchange Mailed and Rec'd Thread -- COMPLETED

I rec'd my other tea package today, and again very impressed by the sender's generosity!

From Christiann (can84):

First it is so funny, as I have been eyeing this package and passing it up:
The Disney Wonderland Tea sampler of a dozen different teas!
I bought the other Wonderland Tea tins for myself as I really like the metal tins. I just had not gotten around yet to buying this sampler. :rotfl2: :thumbsup2
And also a book -- Death by Darjeeling. Looks very cool -- a mystery book for tea lovers.
And another tea contraption. :cheer2: It's a Tea-Riffic cup for tea on the go.
I am just getting all sorts of wonderful tea gadgets I never heard of and look great!

THANKS SO MUCH!! pixiedust:

I love my other tea gadget, the ingenuiTEA I rec'd from KristineN. Others at work were all oooohhhh and aaahhhing over it too. :lmao:

Never heard of the ingenuiTEA or the Tea-Riffic until you two. But both are great!

I hope to get my second (and final) box mailed tonight. It should be in tomorrow's mail.:hourglass

And I wanted to mail a little extra something to KristineN and drop that in the mail at the same time. :flower3:

Thanks again to both of you! My tea horizons have expanded! :rotfl: :surfweb:

And reminder that the mail by date is around the corner -- the 24th! :wave2:

Oh good :) I was worried you had the tea sampler already, and the book looked really cute! Enjoy :goodvibes

Forgot to mention the recipe:
Lemon-Sour Cherry Coffee Cake

Sounds yummy! :)

And I mailed the packages tonight at the post office. :thumbsup2 Guessing they should reach their destinations Monday. :cheer2:

I eyed that tea today too. Should I??? ;)
It was nice to see you again, Barbara. Thanks for driving us around....we appreciate it ::yes::

I like the teas in that series I have tried. They are not too strong or bitter.
The one tea is a peach flavor. I am not a peach person, but really like that tea.

GOOD to see you. :goodvibes :wave2:

I know that most of you are exchanging tea, but are any of you as my family calls them tea granny's? I come from a long line of tea drinkers and more then 1 cup per day.

John and I like a good strong tea so I buy Twinings english breakfast and we just use 2 bags. Any other suggestions?

My parents were both tea tottlers. I was brought up on Constant Comment. And that is still my favorite tea.
I really just started drinking coffee just over 10 years ago. And that was just for the caffeine.
DH likes his coffee strong and black. He says I like a little coffee with my cream. :snooty: :lmao:
Tea is still my favorite by far. But I will drink coffee, but not black. Tea I can handle any temperature, with or without cream or sugar, sweetener, lemon, etc. Just about any way, depending on the tea.

Thanks Barbra.

I hate (and I mean hate coffee) :crazy2: but can drink tea anyway you make it too, well except with honey I don't like honey. DH will drink coffee but not a lot of it, and he likes both his coffee/tea sweet and light.
I will only use milk no half and half or creamers, DH uses half and half.

I am one of the few who does not like Starbuck's coffee. Just as well as I don't like coffee enough to pay that much! :rotfl2:
I do like (occasionally) their sugar free carmel latte.
DH has a Starbuck's EVERY morning. And making it at home is "just not the same". :coffee: :sad2: :confused3

Do you have a World Market? One thing I really like from there is a brand of sugar free chai teas they carry. (two flavors) Almost like a cross between a spice tea and hot chocolate. :confused3

Ohhh...I will need to look at a World Market for that. Cross between hot chocolate and spice tea sounds interesting.
I take my tea with sugar sub......and plain tea with a little milk.
I prefer spicy teas like cinnamon. I like black teas....and haven't found an herbal tea I like yet.
I may have to pick up some tea here, but I am not too found of fruit flavored ones or ones with floral flavorings in them, so still not sure.

TODAY IS MAIL BY DATE!! pixiedust: :moped: ::yes:: :thumbsup2
And I hope to read of some rec'd postings today.
Please keep us all in the loop, y'awl. :joker:

Those World Market Chai teas I buy come in a cylinder cardboard canister and are against a back wall.
Seems like one is called Orca and the other Flamingo. I have no idea what they have to do with those two things. I just look for their spot on the shelf and the labels I recognize very well by now. :rotfl2:
One is spiced and the other is vanilla. Both are yummy, and sometimes I combine them in one cup. Some days I spoil myself and drop a bit of chocolate in too.
As a side note I am drinking Hawaiian coffee this morning from Patsy. :)

I will definitely look for them. I have to go about 45 miles to one, but that is by the big mall and I have to go there to See's anyway and get Valentine gifts.

I am drinking Bigelow cinnamon tea this morning....here in my room ar OKW :yay:

Oh, we got to open DHS yesterday :hyper: Too fun!!

No World Market here, I live in a small got to go miles and miles to shop area.

John doesn't like Starbucks, he doesn't like Dunkin Doughnuts coffee either.

If I use sugar its Splenda and I like that new Truvia. Never tried Chi Teas, but of the flavored teas that I have tried, I like peppermint and chamomile.

Anything for anyone to report today? :confused3
One package I mailed Priority and dropped off Monday night. I would have thought that reached it's destination. :confused3

Anyone have anything to report as mailed or received?:listen:
