Coffee station outside of Topsider's - still on the Magic?

Does anyone know if the free 24hr coffee station outside of Topsider's is still there? I know about the Cafe where Common Grounds used to be, but I believe that they only sell the fancy stuff, whereas I only drink regular joe, and it's not unusual for me to be drinking the stuff at 2:30am.

We sail on the Magic in September and if there's no regular coffee constantly available I may have to be sedated.

We got coffee from drinks station from early morning to late in the day. Many other venues have hot coffee stations - including early mornings when customs get you up at the crack of dawn. Anyway, room service is 24hrs. Nat

dear, mmorizio, i don't know the answer to your ? but if i have a complaint about dcl it is the lack of good strong coffee. i order expresso at meals and a carafe at bedtime so i have it in the am.

it tastes better and is stronger than the coffee station stuff which tastes like the nescafe my mother used to drink.

where in nj? i grew up in south plainfield.

I live in Matawan, but I used to work in South Plainfield.

I don't care for expresso, but I understand that you can buy it and all the flavored coffees in the coffee bar that used to be Common Grounds, the teen Clubhouse. The old ESPN club in the fake smokestack is now the teen club, renamed "The Stack."

It was still there in January.

But it is no longer 24 hour. It closes about 11pm and reopens at about 6.30am.

It is the Nescafe your mother used to drink. Disney sold their soul to Nestle. Sad, but true fact.

Does Nescafe make ground coffee? I though they only made instant. The coffee at the beverage station is brewed with grounds, not instant.

i don't doubt that disney brews the coffee but IMO it is so weak it tastes like instant.

I work graveyard shift, coffee is a hot black liquid with caffeine used to make it through the night. Could explain why I enjoyed the coffee so much on the Magic. :O

A co-worker and his wife had a coffee shop for 7 years, just sold it.
He IS a coffee snob, but left that industry disillusioned.
Worst coffee on the planet in his book is ANYTHING from Starbucks.

He was also disappointed to find out that a handful of huge companies like Nescafe control coffee imports.

They have the "Friends Of Bill W." meetings on board, maybe they should consider "Friends Of Juan Valdez" meetings too??????

1) Lemonade (very good)
2) Coffee
3) Hot Tea
4) Hot Chocolate
5) Iced Tea
6) Milk (whole, not 2% or non fat)
7) Half and Half (yes, not little plastic cups, but half and half in a dispenser just like the milk)
8) Ice water

Will we be able to tolerate the NESCAFE?

MUST HAVE real coffee every morning!

Would we look silly carrying our COFFEE MAKER on board? Just replacing ours and we could bring the old (instead of buying a 2-cup setup)....

You could bring your own coffee and bring a french press...alot easier then trying to bring a coffeemaker...
