Coffee question

I do not drink coffee or ANYTHING coffee flavored. So I need some help on buying some as part of a gift basket.

I bought my friend a travel mug and want to put it in a basket with some Dunkin Donuts coffee and some candy. She was telling me that DD has some coffee that is buy 2 get 1 free right now. Is this coffee something I can buy NOW and put it in the basket (even though I won't be giving her the basket for another 2 weeks)? I don't know how well coffee keeps. Do I need to put it in the fridge? Do I need to wait until I'm ready to give her the gift and then buy the coffee? Please help.

As long as the coffee is in a sealed bag, it will keep just fine for 2 weeks.

Dunkin Donuts is currently selling 4 bags of coffee for 19.99, which is a really good price. You could even turn it into two different gifts if you are putting other things in the basket. Their coffee is airtight sealed, so it will last just fine.

Every time we visit the East coast we buy about a years worth of DD coffee - it comes in sealed bags so no issues. We store it in a cool dark closet and there is always a bag on the counter.

You know Nevada is a pretty large state with 2 main areas of population and lots and lots of sagebrush, sand and Big Horn sheep in between, yes?

There are no D.D.'s in N. or E. Nevada, N. Calif. or anywhere else close to me. Only recently in the past couple of months did DD coffee start showing up on the grocery store shelves and it is $9 for an 8oz bag

It was at our Costco once, we bought 1 bag to make sure it was the good stuff . We should have bought a case, it has never been back. Maybe it's a West Coast, thing they always have the Seattle & Starbuck coffee's
