Coffee/Caffiene -- Does Anyone Else Have This Problem?

When I drink a large cup of coffee (usually when I make a pressed pot as opposed to the coffeemaker), after a couple hours I get a terrible headache. And sometimes it's so bad that I get nauseated.

Doesn't happen every time though.

Am I just wierd (wait, don't answer that) or does this happen to anyone else?

I occasionally od on caffeine and feel like that. Would the pressed pot be delivering a higher dose of caffeine than a regular coffeemaker?

Don't drink coffee, but I often get headaches if I go to long without a coke! (Do you think that means I should cut back ) I have never gotten a headache from caffeine though.

I stopped caffiene in 1998 at my Dr's advice. Caffiene is like any "drug" that you put in your body, the more you take, the more you need. You get rebound headaches when you max out your caffine intake. Migrane pills active ingredient is caffiene. It will help intially get rid of the headache, but if you do not get more caffiene into your system a rebound headache occurs. Caffiene stays in your system for as long as 90 days. 20/20 had a program on it about 2/3 weeks ago. I do not have nearly as many problems without caffiene as I used to. I was a BIG Pepsi drinker.

Well A&H mom I feel sick while drinking coffee sometimes...yes and I am going to give it up. It gives me chest pains and nausea. It is a hard habit to break.
I drink caffeine-free pepsi.
I can't give up the chocolate yet.
I hate getting older...
I swear by the time I am 40 to be caffeine-free...

I don't drink coffee, but I have more problems with caffiene at certain times of the month. Have you ever been able to tell if that might have something to do with it? Then at least you'd know when to drink less coffee.
