Codes for BCV?

Is it likely or unlikely there will be a code available for the Beach Club Villas (One Bedroom) in January of 2004?

I don't think I've ever seen codes for any of the 'home away from home' resorts. Sometimes DVC will discount rooms at Hilton Head and at Vero Beach for the off-season, but they never do it at the "World".

I've seen codes for the DVC resorts.

I've seen more availability at OKW.

Heck, some people even got some of the few DVC villas as part of the FT package.

Sure, there isn't going to be as much availability as the regular hotel rooms but there is some.

It all depends on what time of year, etc. BCV is quite popular and hard to book right now becaue so many people have joined there and they are using their points.

Don't count on it but just keep checking. You may only be able to use a code at OKW.

You can always rent points from a member or just join DVC
;)

We stayed at OKW this past January using a code, and stayed in a 2 Bedroom for $289 a night when the rack rate was $545. We were just hoping to get a similar rate (probably not as good) for BCV.

During the week it's cheaper to rent points. I rented points for Sunday-Th, I got a quote on a 1 bedroom BCV, AP rate (around $300 for a Friday night), due to flight I didn't wind up reserving the unit.

It can be hard to reserve BCV and BWV through CRO at rack rate.

I made a reservation yesterday for a one bedroom at BCV (the agent sounded suprised), but does CRO allow you to make two reservations for separate properties at the same time in the event there is no code for BCV? We would be happy to be at OKW. I am not opposed to renting points, but with two small children we didn't like being without housekeeping for the whole week.

If you rent points you can pay for housekeeping.
