Codes/Discounts on Deluxe Resorts

It seems that most of the discounts and codes - pins, disney visa etc are for the value and moderates.

Do they put them out for deluxe too or are deluxe usually included or is waiting for the AAA rates my best option?

I am hoping for room only discounts for WL in Jan. 2009

I'd be interested in knowing too. I love the WL and want to stay there on our next trip. A code would certainly make it a lot easier.

Sure, but it depends on occupancy. At more crowded times of the year, the more popular deluxes fill up at rack rate, thus no reason to offer the code.

WL seems to be a tough one to get a code at during most times of the year, but you would have a better shot in January than in December!

(I have gotten codes on AKL and the GF for most of my stays. I have also usually had the option of one of the YC/BC/BW resorts as well)

How do you go about finding these codes - just keep watching for them here?

If you are a Disney Visa holder, they usually get 3 days advance notice/booking window. It will also be on the WDW website under special offers.

But, I ALWAYS see it here on the code board first!!

There is a code right now for August into September...

The Fall codes should get released sometime next month (start watching the 10th or so of the month) and should cover parts of October, November and December (with most holidays being blacked out)

I believe in the past, the discount for January and February have been free upgrade to park hoppers and water park passes, not necessarily room discounts.

Last year for January it was the free upgrade to waterpark/hopper pass, but it also knocked about 15% off the room rate as well when you booked the package. Also keep an eye on orbitz and expedia, as sometimes you can find discounted rates on there.
