I was wondering if waiting for my AAA Agent to get in at 9:30 would be a good idea, it seems that rooms with codes book up so fast im afraid I will miss it if she calls when she gets in the office.

We are staying at the Beach Club, I don't know if the deluxe book as fast as the value...

Thanks!!

Stacey-
Yes, often times the rooms will book up for certain dates on the first day.
Is your AAA discount better than this one? I think you'd be better off to call and book now with the BAT to secure your dates and times, then you/your agent could call to modify as needed.
Have fun!

Michelle,
Thanks for the reply!
This code discount is about 70.00 a night cheaper then AAA!!!
My mom is calling CRO right now since im at work and seeing what can be done...it is a funny thing with the AAA reservation, it is hard to change it unless you are the AAA Agent.

I didn't think we should wait for her to get into her office and call, I wouldn't want to loose out on this savings because we waited!!

You might want to just make a whole new ressie without AAA and then cancel or have your AAA agent cancel the AAA ressie. $70 a night is a lot!:D

Tell me about it...LOL

I think Mom is still on hold, but she might just do that, book with them and then let AAA cancel the one she has unless she can apply the code, since we have already paid a portion to our AAA agent it would be easier just to keep that ressie if she can get the code for us.

I will post back with what we were able to do.

I just got off the phone. All deluxe was booked except WL con. for $260 nt. There were only a couple of mod avail. I did'nt ckeck on values. Very disappointing.

Ooo, what a shame! What were your dates, ash&abby'smom?

Anyone getting the BAT discount on moderates or (non-concierge) deluxes for October 7 - 10th?

Hi there,
As you know from a different thread that we are both writing too...I got AKL for 11/26-12/6.

Since mom is the one doing the calling, I don't know what rate she got...but we were originaly staying at the BC from 11/26-12/5 with the Silver Dream maker Pkg.

Now we added an extra night and still saved $100.00 from the original pkg.

We obviously havn't heard from our AAA agent since she doesn't get into the office till 9:30, if we waited for her we would probably have gotten nothing!

Im going to see if she can switch the ressie that we have to this new one...if not then we have to cancel with her and get our $$ back to apply to this new ressie...I guess...Im not sure.

I will post back if I get any more info.

Ash&Abby'smom: I would try calling again...maybe something opened up, you never know if people are canceling one ressie for another and a code room might open up....

So this is what happened....

I talked to my AAA agent, somehow...someway...she was able to get me the BAT discount at the Beach Club....so we added an extra nights stay with the Silver Dream Maker Package and now we are only paying $1.50 more then we were paying with only the AAA discount with the extra room now added on.

So I figured it out and it seems we are saving $50.54 a night on the room.

I don't know what the actual discount is....and of course this savings is from the AAA rate we originally had, which was already a savings from the Disney Rack Rate.... (did that make sense?)

So needless to say we are happy we are at the Beach Club again...LOL
