Code question

ok, maybe a dumb question, but when you use a code for booking a room to get a discount, can you go ahead and book the room now, and then when a code becomes available, can you call them back up and tell them the code to get the discount? Or do you have to wait until the code comes out to book the room, and take the chance that there is no room left?

You can book now and then change it when a code comes out.

And there is no such thing as a dumb question....we all learn things.

If you book now, book a room only reservation through CRO, not a package through WDTC, because I think with WDTC you would have to cancel your reservation and make a new one.

Happy planning!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

There is one other thing to know. There are only a certain number of discounts available on a certain code. If the resort has already booked all the rooms on a code, you can not modify your existing reservation for that discount.

We did this last year. They had rooms available so they created a new reservation with the discount, cancelled the original, and transferred the deposit. If you end up doing this, be sure to check and see if all your requests are still in their notes.

BrianD, I just made my reservation with WDTS before reading your post!!! Oh no! I called the poly, and they transfered me directly to WDTC..i should still be ok, right?
ukcatfan, thanks for the tip. I guess I will have to keep my eyes peeled to get the codes as soon as they come out. Is there somewhere specific I should look to find them as soon as they come out?
