Just tried to call about code BAT, CM said the code was active, but I had to call an 800# to verify that I was eligible. It is a code through Bank One--which is Disney Visa. I have a Disney Visa and thought I'd get okayed. I called the 800# and it turns out I needed the pin from (yet another) postcard to get the deal.

This stinks. I didn't get the earlier email, didn't get the latest postcard, now Disney Visa is sending out pin codes which I didn't get either.

The code may be BAT, but I smell a RAT.

You're killing me. I have been hoping to call tomorrow and get a discount with a general public code to see if I can get concierge at GF. Even my DH is bugging me because we have a LV. Anyway I think I am a little bit of a driven person to put it nicely, and I want that darn concierge room. I got thru this a.m. at like 7:02 and no *****concierge rooms. I'm not done with this yet! I think I should have been a travel agent instead of a nurse. I'm kind of into this. Anyway, code BAT is SOL for me-no pin code, no visa, blah, blah, blah

So inorder to get a BAT rate we will have to have a Bank One Disney Visa AND to have gotten a postcard with a Pin? When were we suposed to get the postcard?

I'm starting to get really ticked off to be quite honest. I'm trying to stay calm because I've been told twice that more AP rooms are being released but I'm really getting irritated.

When I called and mentioned code BAT, the CM said the Bank One offer--Disney Visa was not mentioned. The 800# is 800-214-3001. The call was automated and answered the phone saying "Welcome and thank-you for calling the Walt Disney World Reservation Line." I don't know if this is through WDTC or something special. Then I was asked for zip code, then "enter your pin in the yellow area at the top right corner of your postcard." At that point I hung up.

Don't take this as gospel about the BAT code--it's what happened to me. Your mileage may vary.

I'm just  &

I know what you mean. I did get AP's today after 6 different calls. I was told everything from AP's are not available and on down. The only way to get an AP for my Poly stay was to change the view. I was kinda hoping that maybe I could use my "BAT phone" tomorrow and apply the "BAT code" to get the "Bat Cave" I really wanted for this now "Batty Momma" and her "Batty family". DH is out making money for the Batmobile and new bat capes for the family, so it is my job to hunt BAT codes! Was hoping to get some good "hang time" tonight, but I guess tomorrow it will be "the same BAT time on the same BAT channel!"

mousesavers.com is reporting BAT as a code for the general public. They are usually pretty accurate and reliable. Call first thing in the morning to see if BAT is opened to the general public or not. Good luck. Jay

I'm counting on BAT not being a RAT!!! I overslept yesterday and wasn't able to get all of my nights on the AP rate. I've been up since 4 am eastern today so I can get myself pumped up and be completely ready for work before 7 am so I can call in on time!!

The Disney Bank One website was down for maintenance from 4-6 am this morning, so I just got online to check my account.

There are NO NEW DISCOUNTS showing under WDW offers in my Bank One account, so this pretty much confirms that the BAT rate will be a general public code. If they were going to make it a VISA only code, they would have added it to the offers when they did the update this morning.

Of course, this is the reasonable solution to the question, but I am yet to see anything reasonable about this discount process!!

Oh, I hoping the CM I got last night was wrong! I was so bummed I couldn't sleep well. Mousesavers, indeed, lists it as a room only! Five minutes to go...start your engines...

Oh this is too funny. I just spoke with Disney reservations trying to get the Poly with BAT. The CM told me it looks like this code is part of the McDonald's company promotion! Will they ever get to the point where everyone (CMs) is on the same page?? Curiouser and curiouser as Alice says....
