I lost the weight to fit in all the rides and now you gone and made me gain VIRTUAL POUNDS?!

Sadly, I can't even pass up photo food....well, at least the apple is a fruit!

I LOVE the fact that I woke up - didn't find any CMO news in my inbox - but came back to our little thread and was swept away by 6 pages of posts from last night! It IS just like old times!

I loved reading what you all were up to and believe me - the kind of community that we have going on here is really what it's all about! (and yes, by that statment, you can learn that I DON"T believe the hokey pokey is what it's all about. I hope that isn't shocking or life-shattering news for anyone. . . )

Nope, I had heard about it but dont enter contests.
Much too shy for this kind of stuff.
Found the DisBoards while researching DVC.
I really started following after the thread changed over.
Dropped in when I could and followed along.
This is the first discussion board I have ever been on.
Got the Disney fever our last 2 trips, mostly because of the boys, and the wife is a big Disney fan.
Now I can safely say I am a Disboard fanatic.
So much great info on all of the boards its hard to know which to open lately.
But I always seem to come here first to see "Wats Happenin".
I also have to comment that I have not met as many nice people as are on this thread!

I'm in the same boat as 3guysandagal. When I heard of the CMO contest, I thought it might be really fun to try for it. I decided against it because I too am shy and I really didn't have the time nor the know how to make a good video. I have followed both threads from beginning to end. This is my first discussion board too. I stumbled across the DIS site after our last WDW trip. I have found lots of good info and pictures and have been addicted ever since.

Anyone want to pull apart the next part of the process......like overlapping dates in the rules??

How will we be able to view and vote for the "Grand Prize Video Application" from April 14th through April 22nd, if the finalists will not even BE at the World until April 16th???

Yep, that's part of what I meant when I said the rules needed a good technical editor!

Either we ARE gonna vote for their performance at WDW, or we AREN'T because we'll be voting for original video. Which is it?

It certainly looks like it will at least begin with the current video, perhaps they'll change it on the 17-19th, some where in that range. I wouldn't think they'd have them hit the ground and start challenges. They'll probably start with a reception like we did last year and the day following will begin their challenges.

Hey Everybody!!! Sorry I haven't been around. That was one of the busiest weeks I think I have ever had. Just wanted to send out a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Big Thunder Mountain for all of the support!!!! Loved the song!!! Big thank you to everyone else who was throwing votes my way as well.

I haven't heard anything yet, but think that the Top 3 will know who they are by the end of this week. I was conversing with Kenny last night via e-mail and I thought it would be very cool if they suprised each of the Top 3 with an ambush of sorts complete with camera crew a la Publisher's Clearing House meets Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. (*grabbing megaphone* HELLO CMO TOP 3 CONTESTANT!!!!!)

If anything good comes out of the Top 10 portion it was the fact that I was able to re-direct my nervous energy into a huge spring cleaning project over the weekend. We moved over a year ago and still have stuff in boxes... or HAD stuff in boxes. I feel a little more organized now.

I missed last year's contest. What were the challenges they had you all compete in? Was it just one winner last year too?

LOL. I must have missed the part where Ann thought that you and I were the same person. Nope! I think the only multiple personality we have seen was when Fleagle did Rhoda Dakota which I thought was very funny, but we quickly found out that it was against the rules of the board.

I just had a really busy week last week and could not get to the computer as much as I wanted to. I am thankful that you were my cheering section. I'm sure if this were a webcam chat, you'd be holding up a poster board like you see on American Idol saying "Tripp West 4 CMO!!!!"
