Whew!!!! This wedding tonight is wearing me out. I have spent most of the week putting obscure songs in to my mobile collection. Had the rehearsal dinner last night which was delicious... I'm eating left over steak right now...mmmmmm. After tonight, I'm relaxing all weekend. It's supposed to rain here in Atlanta (well...50/50 chance) so it coud be a movie weekend... or we'll end up at the indoor playground at the local McD's. Looks like I have a little catching up to do. I better get reading...

Justin and Tripp,

Thanks for always popping in! We like hearing from you even though that big elephant kinda gets in the way.

Hope you both are having a great day and that all is well! Pop in more often...I promise we won't bite. ;)

Beautiful day in Yortown, Va. 80º and oh so sunny! :sunny:

Oh you people in southern Virginia always bragging about your weather! It's not too bad here today. . . but we still can't seem to get out the 40's and it always looks like it wants to rain . . . however, I guess I can't complain too much. I got an email today from my cousin in New Hampshire. They got another 6 or 7 inches of snow to bring their total for the season up to 100"!!

Oh, and thanks for promising not to bite! That's certainly comforting news!

Do you think Disney/CB will reveal how many votes everyone received? Sort of a "checks and balances" or can we assume that the "votes were certified by Goofy and Co"?:rotfl2:

Anyone (Kenny) remember if they made the votes public last year? Or maybe b/c it was on youtube, everyone could see it...

No, they won't publicly reveal who got how many votes. If the votes were certified by Goofy, then Donald would win. He publicly supported him.

I think it would be pretty adorable to have donald come out in Tux and interupt the CMO presentation and take the award himself!

They did not release the vote total last year and I do not think they will do so this year. They did not even tell us our placement order, but they slipped up early and Kenny figured it out.

I suspect that the reason only the top 3 have been notified is so that they can still move on to the next in line should someone get disqualified. If last year is a guide, the top three are scrambling around getting affidavites notarized and faxing forms back and forth.

If was a lot of fun finding the crumbs they left lying around for me. There were fewer crumbs this year, but I still did a pretty good job of knowing what was going on. ;)

I agree that they probably wouldn't send a "Thanks for entering" type email to the other 7 because they would be technically still in the running in the event of a disqualification.

You guys are great! I love the speculation, but I second Kenny's guess . . . Cathie, HMF, and Marshay (even though Marshay is being modest and trying to pass on the honor!)

Marshay has declined so according to the rules the 3rd spot is going to Disgeek!:dance3:

SCREEEEEEECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *The DisneyFam car brakes are very loud*

I step out for a few seconds (ok - days)....come back to find my alliance not fully in place at all!!!

I fully believed in the running mates ticket for CMO!

*really hoping I get this post in before all of the notarized documents are completed*

*open to share the CMO spot....even virtually*

Hey Meggin....that goes for you too! ;)

Amy

you're so sweet!! i'm REALLY SORRY that i haven't been more available this week. i am literally running on fumes--and about to head out to my 3:30-midnight job....

i really want to come back and play, but i may not have time to do so until sunday--i have a 10 hour rehearsal tomorrow, and then a show to support tomorrow night. i may just drop from exhaustion when i get back in tonight, but if i get my sixth wind, i'll be back :)

catotigger--i LOVE all the new avatars and the signature!!

love,
meggin

Hang in there, Meggin! :flower3:

Ahhhh, lovely! :thumbsup2

Just for that, you will also be an imaginary special vip during my reign as imaginary CMO! This does include at least one imaginary trip during my imaginary duties! :)

Woo Hoo!!!

Here is my imaginary bouncing off the ceiling!!:rotfl:

Wouldn't that be great if the CMO could bring their own or choose an entourage to help spread even more magic?? Kind of like Oprah's Big Give but make it happen in the parks.

::yes:: Hey, Kinda like the Community Magic Organization? Oh, wait..... didn't we already do that? Oh that's right. Never mind.

he he.....

yes!! What a concept!

Whoever thought of that should really be the CMO -- what vision!!! what fun!!! How could he not win??

Oh, yeah ... right...something about placing 11th....

Very happy for you DISGeeks........really.

In your winning non-entry, did you think about singing?? :rotfl2:

Thanks! :goodvibes

Are you kidding, Ann? I would never do a thing like that! ... Waaaaaay too controversial!! :rotfl:

Woo Hoo!!!

Here is my imaginary bouncing off the ceiling!!:rotfl:

That's okay! I just threw an imaginary "faint" right here in my parents' family room. :faint:

Philosophical Question of the Day: If a person fakes a faint, and there's nobody around to see/hear it...

Truly! And, since this is my imaginary victory, I'm throwing a big imaginary, celebratory "Party in the Car," and everyone in this thread is invited. My [imaginary] treat! ;) We'll take the 'World by storm and make a lot of people happy along the way... Let's spread some magic, people!!! :woohoo:

Oh, I totally forgot to tell you all this one.

Last Friday we were in the elevator at the new American Indian Museum in Washington, DC. This building is just beautiful and the place itself is wonderful. It's actually my new favorite museum. I want to go there sometime w/o my DD so I can read all about the culture, etc.

Anyway, they have these H-U-G-E elevators (holds 8000 pounds) and we happened to get one all to ourselves (6 of us). So as the doors close, I shout out "Party in the Car!" and start doing my interpretation of the Funky Salmon.

Now after my nephews (age 10 and 8, so you know what they were thinking -- crazy Aunt Marshay!) get over their shock, they start joining in and we all start dancing like fools in the elevator. And then the doors open and I guess we must have been making some noise cuz the folks who were about to get on, said they'd catch the next one.

After the doors close again, we did the "party in the car" again and let me tell you, it felt really good. We were all laughing and smiling on the way out ... yes, even my 10 yo nephew and somewhat dodgy brother-in-law!

HA! 'Guess I got a little carried away with my imaginary victory! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I just reread the past few posts and realized that I stole Cato's imaginary thunder... (Marshay's post was intended for her!)

Eh, well! Enthusiasm is good -- even if it's imaginary! ... Right?!? :flower3:

I think the "Community Magic Organization" and it's founding members....ah hem.... is already in existence here on this thread. :thumbsup2

The idea of bring all of us together for a common cause which was to bring magic to others.... still worked. Just because Eric's whole plan never made through doesn't mean that he didn't already succeed. If you know what I mean....

I think those pins are actually pretty special. It's like we're all in on some secret.
Anyway...off to get the two year old a hair cut...wish me luck! :scared1:

-Amy

PS.....pins going to Georgia today will arrive Monday and the ones going to Ontario, Canada should get there in 5 days says Mr. Mailman.
