CM Help!! Ticket Upgrade question!!

I have 1 day left on a child's park hopper pass. I am taking a friend over Labor Day and would love to be able to use this ticket-- does anyone know if I can take the kids ticket to Guest relations and pay the upgrade difference, or does it have to be used as is, for a kid?

No, they will not let you do that. Tickets are sold as "non-transferrable" entities, intended to be used by a single indiviudal throughout its life. Unless your friend was under age 10 at the time the ticket was sold (yes, Disney can tell when you bought the ticket), they will not allow any sort of upgrade.
