CM call centers??

I just finished reading thread about how people rather come the DIS boards than call and speak to Disney for certain info(I have heard CM dont give you an accurate answer most of the time or you get a different answer everytime). Some posted that there are call centers across the U.S. and the CM are not well trained. One Disser posted that when giving her address info while making a reservation,the CM had told her that she lived close by/ and that they did the job on the side. Another posted, they thought they heard a baby crying and a dog barking in background while speaking to a CM.

Well, Let me get to my question.. Can really work as a CM, part of a call center, from the city you live in???

I have talked to CRO CM's that said they are in Salt Lake City, Kansas City, Tampa and I can't recall some other places.

A friend of my sisters lives in Indiana and books Disney Cruises from her home for Disney.

I only know about WDW not the whole company the CM call centers are in Tampa and Orlando...someone told me they also outsource to a job agency that allows you to telecommute from your house but I have never been able to verify it..so I don't think technically they would even be CMs ...who knows

There is a company called Arise that Disney has a contract with. I know that they do Disney Dining. I am not sure if they do vacation reservations though. Arise is a work from home call center that has many different jobs.

Thanks for posting that I just looked around at their web site...knew it sounded too good to be true Its not that easy to get employment with them

You're welcome. Not being easy to get into is a good sign in the work at home world. A lot of them are scams. Arise makes you incorporate yourself which costs a couple of hundred dollars. You really have to be serious to work for them. I wanted to but I have a baby and a big dog that barks at everything (ie..squirrels and birds that invade the yard) and you are supposed to have complete silence to work the phones.
