Club Villain

We attended in May and really enjoyed everything about the event (character meets, show, food, drinks, venue, etc...) and would love to see it again. I hope they extend it (and the fireworks dessert party and DHS EMM hours) to December. The crazy planner in me hates that I can't finalize my plan but I've made regular ADR's but I'm really hoping that some of these extras will be confirmed and bookable for December soon so that I can re-arrange to include them.

HR-85, for most kids it will be fine -- if they're scared of the dark, the villains, etc... it might not be a good fit. At the show we attended there was one little girl (I'd say about 5 years old) who was overwhelmed but the CM's ensured that she got to see all the villains at the first break and then they left. There were lots of other kids (even younger ones) that had no problem at all.

Does anyone know how the seating is determined? Is it assigned based on when you booked the event or is it first come, first serve?
When I went back in May, it was not first come, first served. We had assigned tables. We were given our brochures with Character meeting time info and our table number was on there too. Not sure if that changed somewhere between my visit and the last Club Villain party or not.

This is how it was for us in February as well. The tables seat 4, so you may be seated with another party, or broken up if your group is large. The tables were pretty small, too, and filled up fast once we all had our food/drinks.

Okay, great! Thanks so much, ladies! I am relieved that I won't have to get there an hour early to stake out a table :)

Thanks again!

It made the evening run SO smooth and you didn't feel rushed through your M&G!

We found this event to be awesome from the time we checked in and were given a glass of sparkling wine while waiting (water for the kids...) to the food, to the show, to the scheduled character meets. The food options were well prepared and duplicated on both sides of the room. The drinks were a nice selection and well prepared. We'd go back in a flash for this (and really, REALLY, hope they bring it back for December.)

Our experience was that with Club Villain that the DHS event planners really thought through every step of the event --- you don't always see that with the events at Disney. We found that the SW Dessert Party was also really well done --- so I'm thinking that the event planners at DHS are especially awesome!

COMPLETELY AGREE.

Events we have done at HS have been some of the best.

Has anyone had gluten free food at this event?
One of our table mates was gluten-free and requested gf desserts. There were a couple of the regular desserts she could eat and then they brought her a tray gf desserts- 2 prepackaged cookies and then a couple desserts in jars which I believe were some types of cake. I have to say they were adorable, each jar had one of the villains on the lid so she took them home to keep. There were a decent amount of buffet items she could eat for dinner, too. And she said the desserts in the jars were delicious!

Just have to say I agree with all of this!!

Seating has been pre-determined since the beginning. We were at the first CV in January and our table # was on our "invitation", which we were handed upon check-in :)

Awesome! I love how organized this event sounds!

Thanks so much for your help :)

It's because this is done by a group called Disney Event Group that puts on events for corporations and private events. They are not the folks who do the traditional hard ticket events.

Let's hope it stays that way! Seriously, it was the most well-run Disney event I've ever been to.

I agree. We were one of the last to leave and many of the staff were by the exit. One was a manager in a full suit and he asked us how we liked it. I told him in all my years of Disney (aka 1971) and all the events we had been to, it was by far the best run, the most fun and the best value for our dollar.

DISNEY; if it ain't broke don't fix it.
- Keep CV as it is (maybe an occasional character switch for those of us who want to repeat) the event was practically flawless.
- Please bring back AP, CM and DVC discounts, these are perks we love.

Anyone know if there will be an Annual Passholder discount for the September 2016 dates at CV??
Went in March and loved it, did not realize tip too late there was a decrease in price. oh well....
