Club Villain

I booked the 8:30 show on 10/22.
We are planning on going to the 7:30 Fantasmic!

Question: Will we have enough time to see Fantasmic! at 7:30 and check in to Club Villain at 8:10?
Also, Hollywood Studios is scheduled to close at 7pm. I think Club Villain is about 2 1/2 hours. We won't be leaving until 11pm. Are the buses running at that time to take us back to Bay Lake Tower?
You will be cutting it close, but should be ok. I'd recommend sitting closer to the top at F! to get out as quickly as possible. It's definitely worth getting to CV early to settle in with a drink and check out all the props before the show starts. Tables are pre-assigned, so no need to worry about getting a "good" seat (and the crowd is so small, they're all good seats). CV was exactly 2 hours when we went in February, and yes, they'll have busses running to get you back to BLT when you leave, though you'll probably be sharing with other guests going to MK resorts.

I was coming to post that this is now open for reservations. must pay in full at time of booking. Just booked the 5:15 show for Oct 8th!

I really want to do this...but, for my family of 5 it comes to $645. o_O I don't think I can rationalize that....but, man it sounds fun!!

I'd hoped to get this in during our F&W trip but I guess we can't. Got to wedge the trip in between football Saturdays so we are only there from Sunday till Friday morning, no Friday or Saturday nights. Dang it.

Note on this, and I'll start by saying I didn't believe them but when we attended in April we did the latest show, started right when HS closed. So by the end it was very much after park closing. As the party ended and folks started to wander out they announced that the last buses to resorts departed in 20 min. I think the did that to get guests to move on out because I can't imagine they'd refuse to take someone back to their resort if they got out there later than that. I mean, CV is in the back of the park and it can take a bit to walk out

I am really on the fence about this one! We had an amazing time at CV on our last trip, but there is SO much to fit into our trip in two park days. I think I'm going to wait to decide. I would love to know whether they plan to extend this beyond October. I'd feel much better skipping it this time if I knew for sure that we could go during our January trip!

thank you so much to all who posted. just booked for october. so excited to try this as i read a review that was very positive. wish they would have had ap discounts but oh well : )

Just want to say I'm SO happy this is back! We did the first Club Villain in January and loved every single thing about it. I was also extremely disappointed when they discontinued it, as we felt it was much, much better than so many other things Disney does/has done. If they were offering it in August when DH and I do our adults only trip I wouldn't hesitate to book again :)

I'm interested to see if there are any changes and what they are. All of you going in Sept/Oct: I know it's a few months off but please come back and post reviews and opinions!

OH, WISE DISers... are we thinking this is going to be like other events recently, where they add month by month or so...?? Seems too successful to END, but might they try to keep it just to slower periods... and thus NOT in Nov during F&W and the W&D Half? Or just as a Halloween thing?!

(P.S. The answer I want is "of course they'll extend it to Nov!!!)

:D :D :D

Could you do the earlier CV? If it were me, I wouldn't want to miss a single minute of the Club Villain show, and you would be cutting it very close to get there in time - you'd probably miss the opening number by the time you exit at the arena and make your way over to CV. Plus, we really enjoyed taking pictures with all of the props before the show started when we were there in February - you definitely wouldn't have time to do that.
Thanks. I just switched to the 5.15 show. It was going to be too much effort to get back to HS on another day just to go to fantasmic. This way hopefully we can do the whole park including club villain and fantasmic in one day

One thing to keep in mind:
Closing time and Fantasmic times may change as it gets closer to October. They just changed closing time for September (I'm watching for Star Wars dessert party in October). An earlier VC might be better, but again hard to say. Hope you have a great stay!

DD9 and I are officially booked for September 9th at 8:30! Plunking down the money for it hurt a little, but I am looking forward to it :)

Edited to add: For those who went to this event a few months ago...did they mail you a ticket like they do for MNSSHP? Or did you only get the confirmation email?
