Club Villain

ETA - I did get a survey almost immediately after attending last weekend, so would imagine as long as they keep getting good reviews, it will continue. At least until they need that space for something else.

The awesome part of the FLEX space is that they could do a different event every day and every night and utilize it to the max. Seeing they dropped it to one night a week, my guess is the addition of Tuesdays may have meant less sold out dates. Making it more elusive will put a high demand out there.

The same for other events, create a minimal supply by limited nights, will up the demand. Doing that could sell that building out many nights a week. I see this continuing and in the fall maybe increased nights to compliment MNSSHP and F&W as I think those will be guests very interested. Fingers crossed.

Oh, just seen seen that you can only book 90 days in advance. Also just seen the price. Am devastated - no way I can afford that for our family of 4 :( is it same price for adults and kids????

If your kids are in the 4-10 range, You could drop the kids off at the kids club at the Beach Club for the night for their own fun time for less cost than this If it helps!! I talked to my kids about it and my 5 year old who LOVES kids clubs on cruises and such is definitely considering this option! (My 9 year old was ALL IN with the villians!)

One price for all - and I think that was on purpose. The event is considered more an adult event, and even though kids are welcome, most reports were the same as our night, very few kids. I agree with checking in to the Kids Clubs if you are comfortable with that. But overall I consider it a great value even at $129 with dinner buffet, dinner show, equivalent of dessert party, dance party, open bar, GREAT meets with 4 villains with virtually no wait, tax and tip included.

Can't wait - got reservations for my adult daughters and I for late March! Can anyone tell me what size the invitation is ? My dd wants to do a scrapbook in the hopes that the characters will sign and then include the invitation and photo pass pictures.
Thanks!

Unless it is changed...
Closed 7 x 5.5
Open 16 x 5.5

If she can have yours too, then she will be able to cut and show each side, then she only needs the 7 x 5.5 size covered.

Perfect - and sure I will give her mine !

Mine was for 5, two of which are 2 year olds. I didn't realize the tables only seat 4 though...ugh. I'm hoping they'll let us squeeze into one table, I can't see myself sitting with our kids and DH at a table by himself. My oldest loves villains and it's her actual birthday, I'm skipping BOG for this haha.

We went with five people and they put us all at one table. And we had no small kids with us so I'm sure they will do that with you and it will be comfortable.

Early booking and then Fantasmic after or take the 9pm booking since we are just 2 adults?

I'd do the late one if its adults. I went twice and preferred the later one. It had less small children attending and honestly I just liked that better. It's more grown up feeling anyway. Some of the stuff makes me a little uncomfortable with small kids. But that's just me :)

Thank you for the info! I was looking at pics and also can't see how five would work. Oh well. I'm sure it will be great no matter what as long as we are near each other.

Yep five at one table is no problem. That's what they will do.

Yes I agree. Unless your kid is really a big fan of villains. Or unless bringing your kids is the only way you can get to go. Otherwise I'd make other plans for them and stick to like, 10 and up. The vibe here is very adult. The dancing and dress of the performers is sexy and the alcohol flows. Most of the kids I saw just danced around on the floor inbetween music numbers. The villains are better interacting with adults as well. It's totally up to each parent but that's just my two cents. :)

I'm sure my kids will just like to dance. I showed my DD clips from CV and let her pick if she wanted to do BBB and CRT or go to this and she whole heartedly said CV lol. She is team villain all the way.

This is what I have said when asked. The description and advertising has an adult vibe. The dancing was seductive - on a Disney scale - the lighting, the open bars ... everything about it was like Disney creating a Villain, NOLA dark side night club - again on Disney scale. We also noticed that the Villains stay in character even if a kid so the Evil Queen and Maleficent were almost awkward stand offish dislike for the children.

I think the pricing says "We aren't going to cause an outcry and not allow kids, but we will try to discourage you by making you pay full price for them." My kids would be fine with this as younger kids so I'm not saying some kids won't, but I will guarantee that both families of my nieces would not be fine with their kids going. So every family is different. It's just good to know they haven't "dumbed it down" for lack of better words to be kid-like. It's a party for adults, kids welcome.

Perfect example: We met Evil Queen at DHS in the morning, she was serious looking and all but she did have nice conversation with DS, glad to hear he was coming to the party that night. When we met Evil Queen at party she was very upright, uptight, evil looking, didn't mince words and did not have real conversation with the kids.

My friend made me change it to 5:45, but still I CANNOT WAITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
I wanted to do a 9pm, but my mom said that was way too late for her to eat dinner! I'm just so excited to be going that I took the earlier time and went with it!!!!!

Lol right? I booked the 9 cause we had Epcot fp, but my friend was like might as well do 5:45, so I called and transferred the time and changed the fp to dhs. Of course since I paid for it I'm gonna try to get him to buy lunch while we're at the water park, or something small when we first get to dhs lol

Yeah what mom doesn't know is that since we are going early she has to make it to rope drop at the MK the next morning! If she had done the late show I would have let her sleep in!

Similar, now that I'll be able to switch over to universal a little earlier that evening I can do early entry before pool hopping the rest of the day lol

Absolutely. We're not going to get upset because the characters aren't going to hug our oldest or anything like that, and I don't expect my twins to go anywhere near the characters. My oldest, who is actually turning 5 that day, wants to wear a dalmation print coat and is really excited about meeting Cruella and the Red Queen. I love that there is this option that is so different from other Disney offerings. DH and I have watched several videos of the event and we're comfortable taking our kids. I can definitely see how some may not be though. I'm also glad that it hasn't been "dumbed down" like things to tend to be there. I'm sure my oldest will love it, and if she doesn't I have nobody to blame but myself :thumbsup2

There are a lot of kids on our night last week

I'm taking DGD. Never entered my mind not to. She'll love it. As for the price, she'll eat more than the rest of us, I don't really think kids should be less anyway. Much the same way those who don't drink shouldn't pay less

Anyway, I guess I'm not sensitive to it but I didn't even notice any suggestive dancing, even tame Disney stuff

I am glad the characters stay in character even with kids.

I got mine for April 30th! I did the early show because I also really want to see the Star Wars fireworks that night. I have my fastpasses all set up for late afternoon and after the show. I will spend the morning at Epcot with the F&G kiosks.
