So I was able to get the discount... the CM told me it goes from now thru the 22nd of March. It is a 20% discount so $99 per person. Was going to cancel and book a Character Dinner instead which would end up being $65 after tax/tip.

I assume now March did not sell out which might be why there is only Saturdays in April. Less nights, more demand.

This looked really cool, then I saw the price.

Honestly, totally worth it considering all you get. If you booked a dessert party and a buffet, add open bar, dance party, 4 special characters ..... I think it's more than worth the price.

BUT if you don't normally book any extras then I could see where this would not be of interest.

How do you know which nights have the discount. I am going March 26 early show and assume there isn't one but can't figure out where you see which shows are discounted. Thanks

The discount, as reported by a PP, is only for shows through March 22. You can always call Dining to double check in case the CM had incorrect info.

March dates are not sold out, even the last (busiest) week. For two weeks, I have been checking for dinner at HS on Tuesday, March 29 (Easter week). Although I would LOVE to do Club Villain, we're taking the DGKs on this trip, and don't feel it's a "fit" for us (as much about the food as the atmosphere, as they're not adventurous eaters). CV has been the ONLY available reservation at all during dinner hours for those two weeks. And I've been checking 2-3 times a day.

I fear that a primarily non-kid, extra cost event in a park might not translate for enough people to become a year-round event. I hope I'm wrong! I'm tentatively planning a quick weekend trip for DH and I this summer - primarily to do Club Villain and see RoL!

I just booked today myself plus nieces ages 22, 14, and 11 for April 2 at 5:45pm. Do most people dress up or just wear their theme park clothes. I though about getting t-shirts but don't see much at Disney store.com. Any suggestions?

DH went to the first CV and nobody was really dressed up. There were a couple girls/women in villain-themed dresses, and then lots of people with villain-themed shirts and some with accessories. I was wearing a Maleficent shirt I'd bought in World of Disney on a previous trip and DH had a villains shirt I bought him from Disneystore.com, but you're right they don't have a huge selection.

Since CV started I've read quite a few reports of people dressing up, although most of those are kids, but lots of people wearing themed clothes. I know I've gotten a few other villains shirts at Hot Topic if you have one of those around you and they actually have a bigger selection online. Have fun!

I know! That's the tough part. When we used to fly in from Seattle once or twice a year or so, we'd always just miss something. I'm sure they want to see what the success and feedback are before they commit to having it year-round. Fingers crossed!!
