We LOVED the kale salad and couldn't get enough of it!

Glad it was good, we so enjoyed our meal. Maybe it was the lighting in that location but it looked so unappealing. Best I could say looked like cooked spinach but black, it did not look like salad. I noticed while everyone at our table was filling their plates - no one else got it either.

I wonder if tomorrow Disney Parks Blog is going to have an announcement/update about club villain. They keep posting about tomorrow being 'villaintine' day and their background is off the villains... hmmmm

thanks to everyone who has shared their experiences at this event! it looks downright evil! my fingers are crossed that it'll get extended into April (okay, they aren't crossed, they're checking the reservation site constantly!).

I got a reservation on February 20th!!!! I'm so so stoked!!! Now I just have to figure out if I want to change my fast passes or hop that day.

If this thing goes on as a regular offering, we should make one of those "roll call" posts, so people can meet up if they'd like.

The March dates were finally announced on the DPB. I wonder if they were waiting until they contacted all of the guests who had originally booked for March ... anybody know?

While this would be classified as RUMOR it comes from an inside source that their information is that there is supposed to be new Villains added to event. Not sure if it is additional or they will be a rotating. One supposed addition is Lady Tremaine. Certainly coincides with her leaving MK. Supposedly Queen of Hearts is an issue with all the additional party times and lack of actresses, may be change of some kind there.

The positive I take from it is the event is a success and they are taking an interest in keeping it fresh for new bookings.
The negative is if they do rotate, then we won't know who we are getting so if you have a favorite...

Maybe to keep from having to rotate, they needed to pull Lady T out of MK? From photos that have been posted, Queen of Hearts was double-casted as were all the Villains so two shows in one night would be covered. Yes, I saw video of one Queen and we got another. Ours was far better than the other, clearly a difference in facial mannerisms. Friend was very specific that there are issues with the Queen of Hearts. Was told more about it but don't feel comfortable sharing. I would rather they rotate or replace characters than change up character meets.

We went this past Saturday as part of our valentines trip.

Holy crap. We love villains and Club Villain was absolutely AMAZING. Probably the best paid event we've ever done on property. The characters looked amazing, we had great interactions with them all. My boyfriend who is a really picky eater even enjoyed the food. The drinks were pretty good - Maleficent's was my favorite. Deserts were a lot of fun too.

We did photos with the chairs before the main event started. The sets are amazingly well done. That giant crystal covered poison apple looks great and was a LOT bigger than I expected from seeing photos - it looked to be at least 4-5 feet tall. Meeting the villains went well. None of them rushed us. We usually come across one or two princesses who don't seem interested and won't interact much. We had fun conversations with them all. We were wearing some villain shirts we have from Tokyo Disney - Ursula for me (of course) and Maleficent for him. The villains all commented on how we were wearing the wrong villains expect Maleficent who approved of his shirt. Maleficent, by the way, was the best looking Maleficent we've seen at the parks. Queen of Hearts looked great too. After meeting them for our scheduled times we stopped back for a few more photos with a few after everyone else had their times.

While we talked to a lot of the other people attending the event, we lucked out with the couple we were sitting with. They were even bigger Disney nerds than us and we had a great time with them.

No one seemed to be unhappy at all in the entire crowd. Even the little kids in attendance had a blast. We'd definitely go back to this event, in fact the BF is going back to WDW in a few weeks with a good friend of ours who was actually going to be there alone. That friend was upset because he's also a huge villain fan and the March dates had been canceled. When the people we sat with told us that the dates opened again with a slight price increase we were both on the phone texting the friend telling him to buy tickets NOW, so they'll both be there for the show in early March.

The SW fireworks are at 8 currently, so you would miss them if doing the late seating.

Loving all these posts and so excited that this event is now available for our 3/1 date! I have a couple of questions for you experts:

1) How early do they let you in prior to official start time?
2) How long does the event last?
3) what happens if the event lasts past the official park closing time as far as bus transportation back to your resort?

Here's why I'm asking, my 86 yo mom uses a mobility scooter so we need to use the busses (uber or taxi not an option) and I'm thinking about changing to the late (7:45pm) time and the park official closing is showing 8pm. I'm worried we wouldn't be able to get back to the resort.
