Club Car at HIFS?

Has anyone eaten at the Club Car at the Holiday Inn Family Suites? I was specifically interested in the buffet, it's quality and selection. Thank you in advance.

We're staying at HIFS in December so I am interested also.

Just as an FYI...you can log onto restaurant.com and purchase or bid for gift certificate for this restaurant and get 50% off. The catch is I believe you can only use 1 in a 30 time period but hey...it's one night taken care of.

I use these gift certificates at home so they are legitimate.

If you can get the 50% off GC it may be worth it, otherwise I hate to say it, but don't. We love HIFS and are going back there in a couple of months, but the dinner buffet is just not good. Our first trip we ate there I think 3 nights just because we didn't know where else we could eat, it was at least twice too much. . Now we make plans to eat elsewhere for dinner. There are plenty of places nearby.

Was the food quality bad, or was it cold, bland or whatever? We are planning a stay in Sept. and need to take advantage of the "kids eat free" because we are on a TIGHT budget. Was it really that awful? I'm getting nervous!

The food quality in the Club Car at HIFS is not very good. The food is hot and plentiful but just not of good quality. However, at both the breakfast and dinner buffet, there is enough variety that you'll find something edible.
