Club 33!!

I get to go!!!

I am so excited, I just had to share with some fellow Disney lovers!

So we are going down to Disneyland in August. I have a friend that I am meeting up with one of the days we are down there. She says, " Oh by the way, I dont know why I didnt think of this sooner, but we own a membership to the private club in Disneyland, would you mind if we take you and your husband out for dinner there?'

This is the part that I stared shaking at...

I said, "Club?"

And she said, "You know the name, right?"

I replied, " Club 33?"

She answered, "Yes"

I started CRYING!!!!

I am soooo excited for August 6th to come!!!

It amazes me that people get to go there so often, it means nothing to them anymore They have all their christmas parties there....* sigh* Must be nice!

Those out-of-the-blue Club 33 surprises are the BEST, aren't they? On our last trip a friend emailed me a couple of days before our trip and told us his boss had a membership, and oh, BTW, would we like to go?

I think the out of the blue invites are the best because you never expect it or think about it..lol.

Actually had one myself recently I had to turn down..but at least I can say i've been invited now..LOL!

My oldest friend told me, as she was moving out of town, that she knew a guy who could have gotten us in. What in the world, woman! The time for this chat would've been 2 years ago! I only let her live because we'd already been twice at that point, but sheesh!

Thanks! Im still in shock! I read somewhere that there are things you can buy in there? Like cups and pins and such. Is this true? I dont want to be "that" person that asks the CM and they laugh at me

My jaw is still on the floor....I cant believe she JUST now thought of it!! And WHY I didnt know before!! They go so often, its not special anymore...I WISH I had that problem *rolls eyes*

She also meantioned getting us a super flash pass at Six Flags...has anyone heard of this? She said you dont have to wait in the long lines.

There's a display case with items available for purchase. You can find some good photo tours online if you like to know more in advance, or wait if you want to be surprised. The staff there are wonderful, and will answer questions without making you feel silly. Make sure to take the time to explore the various rooms and pop out on a balcony.

For Six Flags, their Flashpass program lets you skip to the front of the line on selected rides - - the same type of major attractions that get FPs at DLR. Unlike FPs, you have to buy Flashpasses. (Unless you have a generous friend!)

There are both things for sale and some small mementos they will give you as well. My best advice is do NOT be "too cool" to let the staff know you are first timers. Take the little tour, let them give you their pen if they offer, say "yes" when they ask if you'd like a couple little notepads or extra mints.

Have a wonderful time! We've been blessed a couple times and it's an amazing experience.

Oh! One of our favorite things to to is go stand on the balcony and look down at the people.

Oh, how super exciting! As someone who has never been but would love to find myself being invited to have lunch there, I can totally understand how ecstatic you must be feeling!! Take photos if you can and share with those of us who are still hoping for a little Club 33 magic Have fun and yes, pick up a souvenir, don't be afraid to ask what is for sale otherwise you might miss a once in a lifetime opportunity!
