I didn't realize jewjubean(sp?) worked at MK. Thanks for posting her pic. I think I saw her wehn I was riding the TTA.

You probably did see Bean, she spends quite a bit of time working at TTA!

That will be cool cruising in the middle of your trip. You can rest up (well, maybe!) on your cruise. Cruises are much more relaxing than going to the parks! Don't get me wrong, I love going to the parks and I've been there way more times than on cruises. (I've only done 2 cruises!) It's always fun to do new things. I can't wait to try out the new slide at CC!

I've heard talk of the new slide, is it going yet?
I like the idea of spending time before and after the cruise at Disney!
It will be nice to have the washer and dryer to clean the sand out of our clothes from Castaway Cay!

Can't wait to see BWV photos. Are the 2 bedrooms at BWV lockouts or dedicated? I saw a room layout on a website, but it was a lockout. Can't seem to find one for a dedicated 2 bedroom.

I can't imagine that there aren't both dedicated and lockouts. I would look for the Boardwalk thread on the DIS and ask. I'm sure someone knows....

At a non-buffet restaurant I think it's fine. At a buffet it just sounds wrong. I can't really explain that's just my opinion.
Wrong airport!? At least you still had plenty of time to go to Bed and bath and catch your flight. That is the coolest airport ever! Yay for arriving to POP and getting to go to MK. Sounds like a great first night.

I LOVE my iphone. I had no idea how attached I'd be to it. It's like my own tiny laptop.

I also love the MK at night. There's something so magical about it. I can't wait to share an adult trip with Sam. I'm hoping he'll come around to the idea!

I'm hooked on my phone too, hate to be without it!
You should really try to talk Sam into a couples trip, so much fun!

That airport is something! It does look very similar to my home away from home earlier this week.

I'm glad you posted a picture of Julia. I read name tags when I was in MK but didn't see her. Will she still be working in June? Now that I have a face to look for it'll be much easier!

You added a day at the beginning of your July trip, right? July 2nd or 3rd? If it's the 2nd then we'll still be there!!

Julia will be there in June if she gets her extension, that she will find out next week.

I am going to miss that roomy hutch. That was great for keeping things up high - safely away from little hands. It is definitely time for upates. That carpet looks pretty rough over by the door.

I can't believe ya'll went to the wrong airport. Good thing you weren't running late. If it had been us, we would have been turning in on one wheel, late as always, and then we would have been in BIG trouble if we were at the wrong place.

At least you got to the right airport,which I need to say is a very bizarre looking place for an airport. I must say I've never seen an airport that looks like that!

We were just there for our first and last nights of the trip, but yes, we got the 50's both times!

Nothing like Casey's! I'm always hungry for that food...
The guy at security was concerned that we wouldn't make our flight but we knew that we had plenty of time, and we did!
It was a peculiar little airport.

It was a cute little airport. Ours isn't big, but it's got more of a coastal/beachy theme going on.

That Iphone made the time fly by! I found a portable charger at my supermarket so now I can take it along to charge my phone when we are in the parks! I've heard there is a solar charger as well, I need to look for that too.
Well since that airport is in the Ozarks we could probably call it hillbilly....
I have the mailbag in the photo. It's just a little bigger than the hipster. Isn't it cute?

I'm addicted to my Iphone too! When I was at the parks I tried not to use it too much! By the end of the day, it was almost dead. I had to charge it when I got back to the room. That's one reason I didn't take and post many pictures with it. I did take lots of pics, just with my camera not the phone. Is your portable charger the kind with batteries in it? I think I've seen those. I wondered if they worked.

Have you spent much time on the cruise boards? I think there was a pic of the slide in the pic of the day thread. I will try to find the link. Someone posted it from there fb page. From what I read, it is up and running. The washer and dryer will definitely come in handy!

Pop is putting in small dressers with just three small drawers. All that good high storage space is gone. We'll have to figure out other storage options. Those old hutches were good because they had the three open shelves, and a person could have his/her own shelf just for putting odds and ends. We'll be creative and come up with new ways to store our junk, I'm sure.

I'm really excited about the rest of the updating, though. We're getting fresh paint, new curtains and bedspread, new carpet...all the rest of it is good, but I like the old storage units.

I maintain that if you take something from a buffet witht he intention of eating it and just can't, you might as well take it with you because it will just get thrown away. (and I believe I will take 2 choc covered strawberries and will only be able to eat one...or maybe I will grab 1 for me and 1 for Beth forgetting that she is allergic...might as well bring it to MeMom!)

I dont mind answering some questions!! We showed up about 15 minutes before it started and asked for reservations so we didnt have before hand. They told us to be there a hour before Wishes and we got in line as soon as we paid, They started letting people in around 9:05 after they gave us wristbands and showed us to our seats. So if Wishes is scheduled at 9 I would get there around 7:45 or so to get in line early.

Hope this answer's your questions. I would check your CC statement to see if it was 46. And if so I would call and make sure your ressie was not for a Adult and a child.Because thats around what the total would be. May 4th you should come to Stitch Tta and Astro Orbiter and look for me!! I'll be working!

I will try to remember to introduce myself also. We will be there from 4/30 to 5/7. Will you be working in the evening on the 4th??

Day 2

Here we go!

I know, who would have thought, but I have friends that are going to flower and garden soon and want to see pictures plus some have been asking for pictures of Boardwalk so that's were we are headed today!

We woke up to a beautiful morning at Pop Century Resort and Marc headed out to take pictures while I got ready for the day...

Very, very close to our door was this rather large juke box.

We took our bags to bell services and asked them to please send them to Boardwalk and we went in and checked out. Caught the bus for Epcot and decided to walk through and catch the sights of Flower and Garden on our way over to check in at Boardwalk.

I think it was a capital idea!

Upon entering the park we saw the amazing topiary displays, met up with the photo pass photographers and started taking pictures.
Unfortunately we encountered some thoughtless teens sitting on the wall right in front of the main display eating pastries.
People were all around them TRYING to take pictures.
I thought Shocker was going to blow a gasket.
I know eventually they would move and it wasn't like we were going home right then....
But at the moment. UGH!

I had strawberry shortcake. I'm just going to say tasty.

We continued walking and snapping pictures on our way to check in at Boardwalk.
These are all Marc's pictures.
My battery died about 5 minutes after we entered Epcot.
OK, I'll admit it.
It was fun to be able to just take in all the sights.....
Besides, Marc is great with a camera!
Unless he is taking pictures of me texting.

I always just love the floating flowers but the yellow didn't do it for me this year.
Just sayin'.

This however was genius!

Marc was taking my picture then a nice lady came zooming along in an ecv and offered to take one of us together.
He figured if she tried to make off with his camera he could catch her so we posed to together.

My initial response was to offer to take her picture too but then I thought why would we want her picture on our camera.....
She zoomed off before I could offer to take her picture with HER camera.

These kind of flower displays are right up my gardening alley. I do this kind of stuff around my pool....
So pretty.
The kiosks hadn't opened yet so we pressed on toward the IG.

We left via the private entrance used by Christine and a select few.....
made our way to the Boardwalk and encountered little Miss Rude CM.
We stood in line to check in and she put us on auto ignore.
Finally a manager came up and apologized to us and went up to her to see why she wasn't checking us in....
She wasn't nice to him either.
Let's just say she was going to get a giant complaint from me and she could tell.
She could see it coming.
Finally she turned on the Disney charm.
Let's just say I was annoyed.
Lucky for her our villa was ready and it was only 11:00 am.
Score for us!
We were on the 5th floor and I probably should have counted steps.
Couldn't have been much farther from the elevator unless we had a lake view.
Except I couldn't have been happier with our location!
I would request this room every time if I could.

The kitchen is open to the living area, so nice! So fresh! So refurbed!

Just off this portion of the bathroom was a large walking closet that Marc and I shared. There was another large closet that was pretty much untouched by the front door. We had way more space than we needed.
We also had a high chair and crib.....
I took over this vanity.

We had balconies off of the bedroom and the living room and this was our view!

Our bags hadn't been delivered yet so we headed out to meet up with Julia and to try to catch up with some DIS friends....
