Yay, congrats on the new contract!

DH and I went on an us only trip in March, it was great!!! We are going to go down for 3 or 4 nights next spring I think. Yay! We are going to get APs since we are going back in October with the kiddos.

Congrats on the new VB contract!! And in honor of this I felt obligated to tell you that VB (as in Vera not Vero) is having a 20% off all the sale prices!! I believe a congratulatory purchase is in order! I just made one to celebrate with you!

Quick question on points, btw I have a Feb UY also, if you have points from say BLT and OKW, same UY, and want to book at BLT can you combine points from both contracts at the 11 month window? Does that make sense?

Grumpy usually does all the booking but I do believe the points are combined and can be used for either resort. If I am wrong, she will be sure to let EVERYONE know!

We didn't do anything real exciting just running around and cleaning house. Hopefully things will slow down once school ends.

I know on our trip in 2007 we went the end of May , first week of June and F&G was still going in full force ! There ending quite a few things early this year and starting quite a few late . Guess there trying to keep there regular guests on there toes by mixing things up

I just check the Timeshare Store emails each time they come out. It's funny because normally I don't look at Vero Beach, only Beach Club.
I happened to check out all of the Feb. use year contracts this time because that's our use year and that one just screamed at me....
I read it to Shocker and he thought it looked really good to.
We had just been to a presentation a few days before at BLT and honestly to buy from Disney was going to cost us double that.
Yes, they had the cruise incentive, but with the resale deal not only could we purchase at half price, we would get 09' points.
It was a great deal!
If you are serious about purchasing a resale contract, I suggest contacting Timeshare Store. Tell them what you are looking for. They will find it for you.

We will be at Disney the same time!
Since you are going to be there when it's a bit busier, you might want to hit rope drop!
Where are you staying?
Perhaps we can meet up and say hi!

I'm not sure about the points.

That sounds right, but honestly I'm not sure how often we book at the 11 month window.
So often it's more like 7 months out when the points are mushed together.

We were there in 07 too! It was soooo beautiful!

No, you can't combine them at the 11-month window. You can only use your BLT points to book BLT @ the 11-month mark. So, if the reservation would require more points than you own, you'd have to borrow to complete the transaction at 11 months.

Thanks Laura, I know that you will take the best care of it, and I'll get a great report about our new digs!
Just make sure you don't let the kids take home too much sand (our new real estate) in their pants, you know that's where it all ends up!

I should be able to send some pics since we will have wireless.

As for the sand... Luke has yet to eat any in our sandbox. I have high hopes. I think though my girls will probably prefer the pool...

Well that stinks!! Thanks for the info! You need to have a masters degree to figure this all out! So basically unless you never book at the 11 month window it does not pay to have add on points at different Resorts. I see there are others going at the same time as us in July - our dismeet is getting bigger!
