Clowning Around on the Boardwalk! A Wigdout Trip report

We had a 2br savanna view at Christmas and can I just say we loved the 3 bathrooms! Plus the animals were so much fun! You are going to have a great stay!
Be sure to count your steps to the villa! We had a rather long walk...

We had a studio in November at Kidani, and I am glad I did not count those steps!!! This time we are staying at Jambo because my seven yo dd does not like to walk far - hellooooo we are in Disney!! I guess she wants to save her steps for the parks and not the resorts! I did not have the best savanna view in Nov so I am hoping for a better one for the kids this trip!

I did check out the VB site, and my 9yo dd still is hooked on Pinwheel Pink, could not convince her that pink cupcake was on sale.... oh well, maybe I should get one for myself and I will be able to keep it without her stealing it - probably not!

I'm a new follower to the Wigdout trip reports, but I love 'em already! Can't wait to read more (and catch up on old ones!)

In other news, I'm often accused of being a troublemaker and enabler, so I'll post this. Not sure how many of you are close to Fort Wayne, Indiana, but if you are Vera Bradley is having their annual outlet sale April 29-May 2 in Fort Wayne. My mom and I drive down from Detroit every year and it is so worth it! It's in an arena and the entire floor is rows and rows of tables full of every VB product imaginable. Last year I got a mini-hipster for $8, a small duffel for $20, various size cosmetic cases all under $15. It's usually recently and soon-to-be retired patterns, so it's great for stocking up on favorites before they're banished to eBay forever!

I got the e-ticket app for my iphone and while I haven't used it in the parks, it looks like it will be pretty cool. I've used it for other stuff (planning and research) and DISboards. The only complaint I have on the boards is that I can't use my quick links for subscriptions to find my favorite threads easily. Even after I log in. Otherwise, it's pretty dang cool!

Yes! I do have the Eticket app for my Iphone and I love it!

I heard on the DIS unplugged podcast that they updated the app so that the GPS works better and shows you where you are live on the maps. Some other little tweaks I think too but no major changes. I just did the update last week I believe. The update was free if you paid for the app before.

I wish I was going to be down there for a dipped strawberry! I'm going to have to ask Shocker why he eats so darned fast....
You would eat fast too if you grew up in a home with 11 siblings.....

Maybe I don't carry over but I was complimented by a member services CM for not making a mess of our points by borrowing them which I have not done!
YOU HAVE NOT BORROWED???

He probably should have taken his puny self on home....
I have more dedication than to let a little illness keep me from casting out my pearls of wisdom toward hungry minds.....

I much prefer to add-on over borrowing....
And I prefer to live in a house rather than a refrigerator box....

If my Tennessee bug flew his way, expect it to stay for a solid three days.

I was actually looking at Drew's Spectro pictures during Baylor's 6th grade center meeting last night. It was hot in there and we were sitting in front of some kids that wouldn't stop talking. So I DISed.

I think you might be right about that three day bug. He's finally feeling a bit better.

It's actually fairly civilized! I had major anxiety the first year, as if I might have to fight some nasty lady the size of Hagrid for the last small cosmetic bag in Mesa Red (my retired luggage pattern). Alas, there was no fighting, or even verbal snarkiness...much to my relief! Just lots of people holding pink garbage bags filled with Vera. Lots of ladies buy huge quantities to, I assume, sell on eBay. The perimeters of the arena are littered with ladies taking inventory trying to decide what else they need for the eBay inventory. It's quite the spectacle!

I'll be sure to take some pictures this year to share with all.
