Beautiful Flower & Garden pictures , the camping theme is too cute ! Were really gonna miss seeing all flowers this year , going for our 1st time in September this year after going at the end of April beginning of May every year before

I've been packing, cleaning and generally getting our house ready to go on the market and our move to KS. So, I'm kinda sort of22 pages behind
We woke up, not very early to drive about 5 hours to fly out of a new airport in Missouri.
This would be Marc (Shocker).
and me, Miss Anita Wigd.
We normally fly out of Wichita but found much better airfare out of Branson MO so off we went. Didn't have to leave until nearly nine in the morning.
The drive went smoothly.
Thanks to my Iphone I was able to facebook and DIS so actually the drive went fast.
I smelled a skunk if you were following on facebook, and I read a couple of chapters of a book that needed to be read for a book study at school.
We arrived at the airport near Springfield, MO early.
Marc let me off near the door with the bags.
Headed to long term parking.
It wasn't far away.
We couldn't find the Airtran counter.
Guess what?
Wrong airport!
Off he went to get the car.
Picked me up at the door with the luggage.
Off we went to the BRANSON airport.
Didn't I say Branson in the first place?
Time for a story from my past......
Back in the 60's when I was really young.
My grandparents had a cabin on Tablerock Lake near Branson.
They lived in Springfield, MO.
There was no super highway to get you there, just a windy highway through the Ozark Mtns.
Grandpa Luther used to load us up in the back of the pickup at night and off we would go 8 of us kids (me the youngest) driving slow, traffic backed up behind us to the cabin..... us waving and making faces.
That cabin had an outhouse.
Silver Dollar City only had a train and a cave...
Branson had the Baldknobbers!
It sure has changed!
Anyway making that drive makes me think of those days.
On our way to the correct airport I suddenly realized that I forgot my flatiron!
We stopped at a Bed Bath and Beyond.
They had a Chi.
Crisis averted.
We made it to the airport with time to spare.
This airport was like a visit to Wilderness Lodge, see what you think!
Animal tracks in the concrete directing you which way to go.
A place to feed hungry travelers.
As much as this didn't look like an airport it was! This is when when and where we were going
Airport chairs for sitting, but wouldn't be good for sleeping.
Spending some time DISing....
Soon it was time to board and after a quick flight we were in Orlando and at Pop Century Resort!

There is nothing that will spoil you like your first stay in a 1br....Great updates! The pics were really nice. The one bedroom looks sooooo nice. All those pics were great until the niew of the scary clown

I wish I was going to be down there for a dipped strawberry! I'm going to have to ask Shocker why he eats so darned fast....Greg always jokes that he learned to eat fast by growing up with 3 brothers. You ate fast or you didn't eat!

We had a 2br savanna view at Christmas and can I just say we loved the 3 bathrooms! Plus the animals were so much fun! You are going to have a great stay!I'm gonna hijack your TR for a minute to brag about some Pixie Dust!!
We are planning to go down July 25th - 30th, to avoid the Saturday night points! Well I was checking on air fare this weekend and if we go on Saturday night at 7p vs Sunday morning at 6a we save almost $500!!! There are 6 of us with the kids this year, so holy cow is that great. The pixie dust comes in when I called DVC to add on to my AKV 2br Savanna view - they had it open!!So no split stay - with 6 people I can't imagine!! Of course it cost me 68 points but I am still carrying over 171 to next year so I felt it was worth it!

Maybe I don't carry over but I was complimented by a member services CM for not making a mess of our points by borrowing them which I have not done!Wigd is not familiar with the term "carrying over".....
