(Hi all -- if this sounds repetitive, I posted this question on the Community Board, but thought there's different people on here, and might appeal to the budget minded.)
Have any of you ever attended or hosted a clothing or accessory swap party -- where you bring your unwanted stuff and swap for your friends' unwanted things? I'd like to do this, but I'm unsure how to organize it. I thought maybe we should have everybody label their things, so they don't get mixed up, issue everyone a certain number of tickets (say, 5) so they can get that number of swapped items (at least to start), and go from there. Any ideas how this would work? I don't think a clothing swap would work very well, with everybody different sizes (at least in my group of friends
), but a purse/scarf/costume jewelry-type of thing? Suggestions?
