Clothes missing from inventory?

Earlier today my character was wearing the Haunted Mansion suit, I changed to something else and now it is missing. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes it has but I was not sure so I did not say anything to VMK.


I think I will start keeping an inventory of items and clothes from now on.

Were you looking at the clothes inventory before the change? If so, when you reopened the inventory window did it open to the clothes tab? What you have to do in that case is click on another tab and then back to clothes for it to recheck for your actual clothes inventory. Most of the time that works, but once I had to actually log off and back on before my inventory was rechecked after a trade gone bad (other person crashed during trade).

That has happened to my clothes as well. My herbie suit did not show up in my inventory after I entered in the code. Then the next day it showed up in my inventory. I agree with Mal, since they do not have an organized way of viewing our clothes, I have an inventory of my outfits on paper. Sorry, I have to I love my VMK clothes too much to lose it.

Yes. One of my mules lost the entire Indian outfit.

Well I hope ppl are not getting into your accounts and trading the stuff to his or her player....

For the costume judging event I was dressed up as Princess Yavn with BLACK hair, and my mom was getting me judged because I had to go somewhere.....

When I came on the next day, my hair was BROWN!! So I asked my mom if she changed my hair color! And she said no! Hopefully my account is still a secret.....

when the dresses and everything was on sale, i had a yellow dress set and pink one vanish from my inverntory that i had bought the day before. sadly mine never came back and i never got a reply from the black hole as always.

sorry to hear about your lost i was able to replace mine but i know its gonna be hard for you too. i was only able to get one suit, or i would gladly trade you one cheaply.

Both my sister and I each lost and Indian top way back when. We contacted VMK and nothing ever came of it. No big deal, because we were able to buy them again at the last event - but still mysterious.

I lost a cowboy hat at one point after the first time they came out.

I tried checking again as BobRichmond suggested, but it still wasn't there.

LittleRydia, that is so nice of you to say. I have another character with the suit, it is annoying to lose something that cost so many credits though.

I was just trying to move some of my clothes around - different mules bought pieces during the Halloween sale. Everything I bought was still there, but I noticed halfway through that most of them were no longer with my main character! And at that point the 3 HM suits I'd bought with my main character were screwed up too! (like all black jackets were gone as were the grey pants) ARGH!!

I'm missing a space suit and a complete yellow princess set (I think). They just disappeared.

But don't give up hope that they will return, I bought three Sorcerer Mickey hats the first time they were sold and at some point two of them disappeared. I had forgotten about it until some people on this board started requesting the ears. I checked my inventory and there they were so I traded them.
